briefly playing Liberation of Undermine again to help a guildie get the hearthstone and it really showed how the state of Midnight and it's current patch especially is really not very good

sorry this isn't a WoW thing, but how long do you keep going, trying to be as good as you can be, when everywhere you seem to look, people don't share the same sentiment? what point is there trying to be good when everything seems so bad?

i think it's quite a sad reflection that as a society we've granted so much power to people without a clue who got lucky that they're somewhat personable(?) as they linger in their bedrooms. to the point, that a large admittedly corporate entity is too much of a pussy to face off against it.

my dumbass desperately wanting to play Forever, not shutting up about Forever, only can think about Forever and YET being too stubborn to throw down money cus "i'm not paying for Blue Elves"

also on what i just posted, Tauren lore is great too, i just wish there was more and it was more expansive. they've always felt pretty underdeveloped beyond their origins and how they joined the Horde.

idk if people agree with this but... whilst Horde will pretty much always be my preferred faction... Alliance around Warcraft 2 - Vanilla WoW is probably the peak of that faction, right? as far as when they're at their most interesting.

hope i haven't come across as a big WoW complainer today, all this stuff comes from me caring about this setting a lot. anyway, here's some creature i found behind my fridge

3220

Snagjaw @snagjaw.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

i need to be careful how i word this... but i really think WoW's world building would benefit from... maybe not near exclusively having all their ideas coming from Californians/Americans who i'd hazard a guess, come up largely from similar backgrounds and world outlooks...

7576

Snagjaw @snagjaw.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

i really don't want to come across negative, but i think now looking at the -mostly- whole picture of from Launch to Max Level Campaign to Cure of Ula'tek... ... i don't think i've really enjoyed Midnight very much...

3211

Snagjaw @snagjaw.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

>:l ive just been sat here debating if i wanna be a Tauren or a Dwarf when Forever comes out... truly, life doesn't get any harder for anyone but me rn

Snagjaw @snagjaw.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

more or less caught back up on gear again! 💚 on PvP that is, i dunno if i care to chase PvE this season

1100

Snagjaw @snagjaw.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

so i finally played the Curse of Ula'tek story... i'm not gonna say it's good... cus' it's not... it's just dirt of... "fine" at the best of times. it did feel incredibly disjointed from the rest of the plot. Lorthemar was low-key right to stick out of it.
