honestly go for it!! 👀 it's a pretty chill hobby. there are some tutorials online, like on youtube and stuff, explaining how the patterns work. and all you really need to get started is some yarn and cardboard. very low-cost. :>

i managed to get about 1.26 meters of this before the band started getting screwy, but thankfully it's just BARELY enough of what i needed for the bottom. gonna try to sew it on today i think

i'm the only one who ever wants to build. one of my friends keep cheesing the game by stealing high level items from another friend's server, which i find a bit frustrating because i just want to progress the game normally WITHOUT his shortcuts. at this rate i'm probably better off playing it alone

this has already taken weeks hahaha, i'm using a stitch that is very thick and overlapping, resulting in a rather warm fabric!! most of the more common stitches are way faster. these for example. much quicker.

fingerless glove in the colors of the ace flag. really just a quick project, took me like a day or two.

who would have thought that the more common variant of the oslo stitch was also the more efficient one

a beanie, needlebound out of variegated superwash yarn, so most of the joins ended up being some very visible knots, as i could not felt it. but anyway.

top part is the quicker looser oslo stitch, while the bottom part that goes over the ears is the thicker slower variant of the oslo stitch that i accidentally learned first.

a BUNCH of braid examples. yes mostly the same guy (besides the last one). he has braids and i draw him a lot. there are of course More ways i draw braids, this is just one of them!! i like this one for sketching. it's great for sketching. lets me easily control the width of the braid and all.
