the dog was 15 and had lots of issues, from weird lumps, to inability to use their back legs at all. they werent in good condition at all. its what led us to the decision after alot of talk.

Im sorry for this vent post. I dont know a healthy way to air out this pain im feeling. I figured writing it out and just putting it out there would help alleviate some of the pain. This is probably the closest loss I've had in my life. So im still learning how to manage it.

I just dont know how to handle this. Everytime I think the hurt is fading it hits again with a vengence. I cant help but remember the very moment he went limp in my arms at the vet. The intense emotions I felt like nothing ive ever felt before. Its traumatizing.

Every time i think of him I feel immense regret. Like I didn't do enough. I tried so hard to do everything for him knowing his time was coming and it still doesnt feel like enough. I wish I could pet him one more time. A eternity wouldnt have been enough time, but still I wish i had more time.

bro,,, My rooms always been so hot... I just found out why. The light i used to replace my closet light like 4 or 5 years ago was a heat light of some sort,,, i didnt know, it looked like a fancy bulb 😭. I turned it off for the night and my room felt 10 degrees cooler!!
