YOU DON'T "CONSUME" ART MOTHERFUCKER. YOU EXPERIENCE IT. YOU FEEL IT. YOU ENGAGE WITH IT. YOU WRESTLE WITH IT. YOU LIVE IT. ART ISN'T A LITTLE MORSEL YOU GOBBLE UP.

just got home from Coyote VS Acme it was really good! probably the best animation/live action hybrid since Roger Rabbit (that I could think of) plus, actually seeing it make the light of day was pretty dope on its own right

also wanted to take this time to admit that i'm very slow when it comes to most shows lol, even the short stuff'll take me a while (with very specific exceptions)

smitty462🆖 @smitty462.newgrounds.com · 21/08/2026

so, i just finished Digital Circus overall, it was a fun watch! hell, i thought that ending was a blast to watch. i kid you not, i've been avoiding as many spoilers as possible (not all cuz... it's everywhere lol) for... i think about 3 years? it was very worth my little wait.

also despite Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross not returning for the score (which is super unfortunate as that was easily my favorite part of the original, not even just cuz it's NIN lol), but still used "Hand Covers Bruise" for the trailer... alright.

smitty462🆖 @smitty462.newgrounds.com · 01/08/2026

although, before the movie started I saw a trailer for "The Social Reckoning", follow up to "The Social Network" (one of my favorites) considering that almost no one from the first one is returning, this is going in the "i need to hear good things first" bin

came back from a short vacation yesterday and TOKON's open beta went live yesterday but im @ my nanas house (& had my PS5 there like a little kid lol) and was like "im not gonna be at home in time to play this on PC..." so i think imma just play the beta on PS5 and buy it on PC

just got home from Evil Dead Burn HOLY SHIT. makes the two newer ones look like child's play (& blows Rise out the water as that one was "eh"), for me this ties with the 2013 Remake as my favorites out of the new Evil Dead movies.

made the BTS companion piece for my cartoon from... *checks notes* two months ago... i did not intend to make it this late lol link here: youtu.be/pkX3hUO7GdI

"THE SEARCH FOR HOPEMAN - BEHIND THE SCENES" title card, alongside a sketch for the characters, Dr. Slash & Hopeman, as featured in the cartoon this was made for.

also thank GOD for this setting for the first half, i kept getting distract by the screen shaking, turning red n shit, which considering *how much* you have to keep track of in the game... it's just not the kinda game to have those effects lol

icl blops 1&2 being rereleased on PS4/5 feels like the most... just like "for fucks sake, fine...you win" release there is, considering the unfortunate timing, and this feeling of "is this... all you guys want...?", considering the Hopefully False Console Gamer Library Stereotype

watched the first 4 episodes of digital circus tonight and so far im digging it! when i started the pilot, i was kinda "eh" on its fast pace but after about 15 min, it slowed down enough for me to catch my breath and go along with the show

000

smitty462🆖 @smitty462.newgrounds.com · 07/07/2026

gonna finally give some of these indie shows and pilots a shot (focusing mainly on TADC, planetronika, gameoverse for now) only ones i've sorta caught up with being monkey wrench and bridge kids (havent seen their newest episodes yet tho) + i rarely watch this kinda stuff on YT, but on NG instead

smitty462🆖 @smitty462.newgrounds.com · 03/07/2026

and ofc now they wanna do that under the guise of... """"security"""" (even though they solved that a while ago by restricting it to PSN Wallets lol), yet at the same time proving why an all-digital future on consoles is a horrible idea, especially if nothing changes

i went back to check how long it took for Sony to respond to when they *initially* were gonna shut the PS3 & Vita PS Stores down back in early 2021 how long did it take for them to reverse it? almost a month 😬 march 29th to april 19th to be specific

i will say this though, i do wanna make my own website, but i dont plan on having it be anything too crazy, as it would mainly just be used as a portfolio for ppl to look over for work n shet but i would need... 1. time 2. research 3. know what im even doing 4. ??? 5. money (probably)

"erm have every1 make their own websites with le freaking epic fruitger aero AND change their browsing habits to mirror 1999, im depressed & use nostalgia as a cope for all of my problems!!1!! (born in 2015 btw)" im lowk obsessed with NG and old internet culture... but gl getting every1 on board :\

in light of recent bsky news, just wanted to say that in my genuine honest opinion, there will never be a good social media platform that doesnt piss me off due to the users (ik thats kinda shitty...) and/or really stupid decisions from high up. the dream for it has been dead to me for years atp.
