Au jus. Got it. That is some good stuff. I haven't had any steak for about a month and a half. I will treat myself again to prime rib the last week of August. I've been eating fresh fruit, fresh veggies, baked fish, turkey wings, white canned tuna in water, baked chicken and salmon.

@cookncolorado.bsky.social I've always heard of and seen prime rib but never tried it. Dude! I tried it Sunday and my favorite steak restaurant and it was off the chain delicious. They seared it also. Prime rib is my favorite now. A sauce came with it and I think they called it aju sauce?

@cookncolorado.bsky.social I discovered something and it is very very bad for me friend. I haven't had any french fries in a month. I fried me a bunch in beef tallow and canola oil. Those fries tasted just like McDonald's fries. Beef tallow is very high in cholesterol and fat though. Oops.

@cookncolorado.bsky.social I shocked that many people didn't know if you bake a steak like a ribeye, tbone, NY strip in the oven you will not get that restaurant taste. You'd get something like a roast beef taste. You have to grill or broil it. My friend could figure out why he wasn't getting it.
