Labor’s 5% deposit scheme conned 1st homebuyers into massive debt & many risk owing the bank. The Greens want big banks to be required to offer low-interest mortgages for 1st homebuyer owner-occupiers so more early repayments go to paying off the loan, not to bank profits.

Enough of the feigned outrage over card surcharges. Just like GST, it makes perfect sense to be included in the price. Remember, businesses can still offer a DISCOUNT for cash payments, but you know they won't. Shame on every operator using it to hide a price increase.
