This is what it looks like just south of Atlanta today. I’m hoping to get home tonight. I’ve been at work since 0650 yesterday morning!

Got the body done, but not the borders. Mom understands and loves the color and pattern. I’ll post when finished with her wearing it!

Impossible knitting goal for this year: Decided on Monday evening that I had to knit Mom a vest for Christmas. Done one front and half of back. Working 3 12s over the next 3 days. The odds are not in my favor.

Finished up the first of a pair of fingerless mitts. Already cast on the second.

I really like the bold texture. Can you share the pattern name?

I have the Hue Shift Afghan kit from Knitpicks in those colors! I’d almost forgotten. I need to make this my next project. Did you find it a fun knit? It’s lovely!

We are kind of on the same page. I always think of Tandoori flavors when I read about the Fremen foods.

It’s beautiful! I’m thinking that my mom would really like it. I’ll have to add to my list on Rav.

Now I hate to pass up disparagement of RFK, but properly rendered beef tallow is shelf stable and doesn’t require refrigeration.

You go girl! I’d be frantically trying to get my charting done so I could clock out on time. (And hoping the nightshift nurse wasn’t late).

That would make a lovely cowl. (Tucks idea for a pattern away in my knitting brain).

I’ll be sure to post the finished project when I decide what it wants to be. In the mean time I’ll just admire it. ♥️

Solution: A gaming platform that I can view (through the distance part of my glasses) from my sofa. I’ve also heard/seen that I can stream PS5 to my Quest 3. That would be amazing. (I have Zenni Rx insets for the VR headset). If you have done that please share!

In the interest of trying not to pay a future tariff/tax I purchased a PlayStation 5 with PlayStation Plus for myself. I mostly play RPGs. My advanced age requires bifocal glasses and having to view the computer with my head tilted back (in order to view through bifocal glasses) has become a bother.

Watched the first episode of Dune: Prophecy on a really big VR screen! Loved the immersive experience. Also loved the pilot. Re-charging the headset for episode 2!

Inside me there are two cats

On top: a sticker of a white cat wearing an oversized cable knit sweater, cozy vibes.
On bottom: a magnet with a super-chonk cat silhouette stepping on a dead snake in the style of the Gadsden flag, captioned "OH LAWD HE TREADING"

Consiously using every available moment to knit can get a lot accomplished. BUT, Having a backup plan can help to decrease stress. May I suggest IOUs.
