Beneath every fed move is a desire to break the power of labor by depriving them of a high-paying domestic alternative. AEW poses no other threat

Imagine being a billion dollar company, by all rights too big to fail, and you're concerned about your competition to the point that it's keeping you from announcing dates for your annual household name big show.

@FightfulSelect
Regarding WrestleMania 43 and the much-anticipated date announcement.

WWE has been in no rush to make that information public. Currently, the company does not plan to announce anything in October, @WrestleVotes
Radio on @FightfulSelect
has learned.

Sources indicated that given the special circumstances surrounding this event, including how ticket distribution is expected to work in the host city, publicly revealing the date simply hasn't been a priority. By doing this, WWE is keeping stateside competition in limbo when planning around that date.

More details are available for Select subscribers.

At this point I believe that the notion of him leaving AEW is only muttered by people who aren't even invested in Jon - or even Dean Ambrose for that matter - that just want their altar of WWE to be plentiful.

For many of us in Canada, Eddie gave us our first opportunities. With PWA in Kitchener, I was just a 18 yr old kid hungry for an opportunity. Then Eddie gave me my first West Coast booking for 365. Thank you for always giving us a platform and for always being a joy. Rest in Peace Eddie ♥️

I don't believe that to be true at all. I was watching this feud in real time. The week that reports dropped that Goldberg signed with WWE, they tried to make us forget the racist elements of the storyline because Triple H's reign of terror could continue with a new opponent after Mania.

Took me a few nights to feel up to making this but it felt necessary while I grieve, as I’m sure lots on here still are, to draw our wonderful Bastard Pac. Incredible doesn’t begin to describe him as a performer; nor, by all accounts, as a man. Rest well. You are sorely missed. #AEW #art 🤼

Just an FYI:

PAC is pronounced PACK, not pock. It’s from a nickname his Dad gave him when he was just a boy. Six Pack Ben Satterley

I get it- 2Pac, X-Pac. People have been saying it that way for years. That’s fine. Some will continue to say ‘Pock’ & that’s fine too!

Ben would cringe at the idea of correcting someone so I don’t mean to be the Pronunciation Police here. I just think some people aren’t aware & I feel it’s important & respectful to say (or spell) someone’s name correctly.

Chris Hero (Is Back)
@ChrisHero
The difference between pack & pock is the same difference between Max & Mox. Would you make that mistake? ☺️

This shit is easy bro. A Pac Tournament would be like 8+ of the angriest dudes of any style. People with the mentality of making it everyone’s problem and have them go out there and release the anger and hate they have the other contestants, who have the fucking gall to even participate.

Speaking of ai slop of wrestlers in heaven, who was it who posted that awful Jim Neidhart in heaven pic? It wasn't ai, so perhaps we were too harsh on them. I thought it was Dixie Carter but I can't find it. It was truly terrible. Natalya was so polite about it. 😭

Since WWE's trying to exploit PAC's death, it's time to talk about this: Remember how PAC suddenly had visa issues when AEW started? That's because, when the AEW trademarks were filed, WWE called USCIS to claim he walked out on his visa. After leaving him alone for a year and giving him his release.

I've seen suggestions of a tribute match/tournament to PAC but I'm struggling to think of what that would look like. It's easy to say loop in all the best high flyers, but PAC was so much more than an aerial guy, especially in later years. I think he might have been as well rounded as Owen was.
