My coop is markedly more expensive than a lot of other grocery stores, but since Tony's (biggest nearby grocery) got acquired by private equity their price for whole chickens has gone up to $4.99 a pound and now the co-op's $2.99 is real bargain!

It is a shame and shameful that the continued enforcement of male only celibate clergy has stymied their views on gender, reproduction and queerness, because otherwise they are an extraordinarily progressive religion today, esp relative to most other christianities
