No way this was not intentional
Babylon 5 Season 4 Episode 2 intro. Lorien says "Tock," while the titles read — Conceptual Consultant HARLAN ELLISON.

That's nice, but, controller support? Perhaps like CRT emulation there there should be PS/2 keyboard emulation.

Probably the worst ratio of beautiful design to predictable plot in a game this year

Trying to be less greedy — I'm not an academic or training LLMs here — buying the lower tier of the best of Robert Silverberg humble bundle, since I've only really had Lord Valentine's Castle on my wishlist.

Big Mistakes seems to have replaced the cliffhanger with a banger intro to make you commit to another episode instead.

I didn't realize Battle City was about tanks in an urban maze until just now (I only remebered it as the tanks game).

This one's quite different mechanically from Lorn's Lure, and the 2000s design is hit-or-miss (like the guns) but still lovely to spend time with.
Screenshot from "Metal Garden". Different shades of gray and rust, a dome and some platforms. Lightning and wind not captured.

Showing the trailer for Land of Bad just before the One Battle After Another screening, how's that for dissonance.

Lorn's Lure became a favorite (that came out last year). The climbing gear is the best successor to the Half Life crowbar.

Somehow, the most impressive part was getting UE4 crashing a PC into a hard reboot multiple times. It feels like I'm too old for parkour games, but maybe it just felt too similar to the first one.

Since I immediately recognized the "Train" boardgame when reading "Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow", I wasn't aware of it being considered plagiarism until the end. Definitely somewhere on the [pop-culture reference; blatant theft] spectrum, but nowhere near the edges.

Absolutely amazing art/animation, but straightforward (compared to Celeste or VVVVVV) platforming.

Enjoyed Cocoon for the Big Dumb Object exploration, but the puzzles having video-gamey logic instead of indecipherable alien mystery takes away from immersion.
