I'm sure it's just recency bias because it gets posted now and then, but it's crazy to me how clearly I remember that intro while literally not remembering one second of a single episode otherwise.

I truly hate how much AI processing and upscaling is done to things (like say clips from movies) so they end up putting that uncanny AI sheen on things that weren't in any way AI to begin with. Like making slop's not enough, we have to put a little slop layer onto all the non-slop too.

I feel like the article makes a point about the "anything but country" cultural signifier, but just ignores the fact that country music has had its own fully separate ecosystem for decades. Even in the peak MTV monoculture era, it was a clearly distinct thing you could easily not encounter at all.

I feel a profound distrust for branding that feels like it should be targeting children ("noodles, gooder") but at the same time is clearly targeting adults (minimalist packaging and no cool dinosaur, kid with skateboard, or dinosaur with skateboard).

I have too many things in my PS wishlist (I guess?) so only placeholder data boxes load when I open it. The workaround I found was to go to the last item and load it, then the preceding ones load in. Hilarious problem for a store to have.

I realize it's still the pill direction (sorry it's the only experience I have) but if you haven't tried a triptan, that was absolutely life changing for me. Also generally an "as-needed" kind of thing so you dont have to commit to it.

I've been doing a Flonase spray for the last couple days, and for some reason it smells exactly like the stuff I used to spray on Warhammer minis to make the super glue dry faster, so it's triggering some kind of scent memory that makes me think I'm doing something extremely harmful to my brain.
