I suppose I'd rather my duck be soggy than crispy

I'm planning to go. Will depend if I can get a hotel but it'd be great to see you if I do get there :)

Honestly, I left it a bit late to do some fursuit cleaning but I've cleaned up my duck head and am now rapidly trying to dry it out by blowing a fan through it while also using a dehumidifier. Hopefully this works. No-one wants a soggy duck

I remember when I was putting on weight and not doing much to prevent it, 38” waist trousers were the largest you could usually find off the shelf in stores. That was a long time ago and it does seem that a few larger sizes are available these days but it'll be nice to just have a lot more options

New achievement unlocked: I bought a pair of 40” waist trousers expecting to not yet be able to fit them but it'd be a good benchmark for when I do but I tried them on and they fit straight away! Honestly I'm thrilled! At my worst, I did have some 50" waist trousers so to lose 10” is incredible!

During my recent Disney trip, the wheels of my suitcase literally disintegrated. Quite likely due a combination of the heat in France at the time combined with the weight of the contents. All was not lost though as I was able to get some cheap replacement wheels from China & now it's as good as new!

Your work is worth the asking price. It just makes it more worthwhile to save up for :)

Yeah, I get that real life can get in the way of fun sometimes. The joys of being an adult!

000

Oh bums, sorry, I misunderstood. It would have been nice to see you

100

I'll see you at Pawsome!

100

Yeah, unfortunately the cost of a car still outweighs the amount I'm paying for fuel!

000

Holy moly, I love this collection! 😻

LobitoWorks 🔜 Commissions OPEN! @lobitoworks.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Some might say this is a totally pointless upgrade for a PC... And you'd be right, however I got a good deal on this display so now I can finally watch The Odyssey as Christopher Nolan intended

I've never used InPost before but they're absolutely frigging useless. My parcel was supposed to have been delivered on the 24th. Will it be delivered today? I have no idea

UK diesel price hits all-time high, RAC says

I topped up my car's diesel recently and it was 186.9p per litre. Now it's getting close to £2 per litre. Normally I wouldn't be too concerned but I've got a big drive later this week to do Pawsome so I'll have to just take this as part of the expense :(

The US-Israel war with Iran has caused fuel prices to soar.

Absolute perfection! 😻

If I knew Arrow were working on a new release, I wouldn't have bought the Blu-ray recently! Ah well, was only a tenner. It is kinda mad that they thought there would be nuclear war in 1966 but that just reflects the fears of the time the movie was made

I remember loving the 1960 version of The Time Machine when I was a kid (in the 80s, I'm not that old!) but rewatching it today, I can't help but pick many holes in the plot. I guess it was better when I had less understanding and could suspend my disbelief. It is still a classic though

Ah, it'll be great to see you again at least!

In less than a week I'll be heading out to attend @pawsome.bsky.social. I've never been before so I have no idea what to expect. Hopefully there'll be a good number of people I know going. I feel hopelessly under prepared though!

Gross. That slop has taken over local makers markets and it's depressing to see

No, I guess Amazon figures the discount was a good enough promotion

Tonight's tipple is the Scoop 6% Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sour from @azvexbrewing.bsky.social. When I first heard of this I knew I had to try it, and I'm happy to confirm it's genuinely delicious. It tastes more like a milkshake rather than a sour but that's kinda what I hoped for. Love it!

Yeah, I got 50% off too. Can't beat it at that price :)

Hmm, I realise I called it a novel when it's non-fiction. Ah well, no-one noticed

The bird boss was very cute and cartoony. Honestly the whole game is fantastic. I just don't find myself gaming on the PlayStation much in favour of PC gaming. Amusingly I first played the game in September 2024 so it's taken me 2 years to beat. Better late than never I suppose. Now to 100% it...

SlyCat @slycat.uk · 24/09/2026

So my Playstation 5 mysteriously booted itself up so I had a look to see what it was doing. Turns out it was just doing a self update. However I hadn't played on it in ages so I figured I'd have a go on Astro Bot. Apparently I was only a few stages away from completing it so I've now finished it!

2 new releases arrived today. The first is the second novel from Chris Broad, the man behind Abroad In Japan on YouTube. The second is the 4K release of Nirvana The Band The Show The Movie. A movie which I saw having known nothing about it and found myself loving it. I look forward to viewing both!

Coincidentally, I recently took delivery of this wonderful new Darkwing Duck t-shirt which was part of the D23 range. I was surprised to see it still available and I was further surprised to see it was available in my size :)

‘Darkwing Duck’ Is Back With An All-New Animated Series Greenlit For Disney+

Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen, Lizzy Caplan and Lilimar Lead Stellar Voice Cast

It was unusual to cast him instead of Jim Cummings. They're of a similar vintage anyway. I guess this show is taking a new direction. Clearly it's another Seth Rogan passion project considering his casting but he's been behind a number of solid shows now so I reserve my judgement until we see more

I love sharing that movie with people as so few have heard about it
