While at @pawsome.bsky.social, @atomicfallout67.bsky.social took some fantastic photos of my duck Digby. It really shows off the shape of the suit. I love it :) Head by @cenobear.bsky.social Body by @bunnypaws.bsky.social

I can now officially add the NFC con label to my profile. Hopefully I'll be able to add the one for ConFuzzled too but still waiting on the lottery results for that one

Been relaxing with friends at @pawsome.bsky.social today. Not taken many photos but I did get some nice ones of @flintfox.bsky.social and @moosli.bsky.social. I've not suited up today but I'll do that tomorrow at some point :)

Honestly, I left it a bit late to do some fursuit cleaning but I've cleaned up my duck head and am now rapidly trying to dry it out by blowing a fan through it while also using a dehumidifier. Hopefully this works. No-one wants a soggy duck

During my recent Disney trip, the wheels of my suitcase literally disintegrated. Quite likely due a combination of the heat in France at the time combined with the weight of the contents. All was not lost though as I was able to get some cheap replacement wheels from China & now it's as good as new!

Some might say this is a totally pointless upgrade for a PC... And you'd be right, however I got a good deal on this display so now I can finally watch The Odyssey as Christopher Nolan intended

I've never used InPost before but they're absolutely frigging useless. My parcel was supposed to have been delivered on the 24th. Will it be delivered today? I have no idea

Tonight's tipple is the Scoop 6% Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Sour from @azvexbrewing.bsky.social. When I first heard of this I knew I had to try it, and I'm happy to confirm it's genuinely delicious. It tastes more like a milkshake rather than a sour but that's kinda what I hoped for. Love it!

The bird boss was very cute and cartoony. Honestly the whole game is fantastic. I just don't find myself gaming on the PlayStation much in favour of PC gaming. Amusingly I first played the game in September 2024 so it's taken me 2 years to beat. Better late than never I suppose. Now to 100% it...

So my Playstation 5 mysteriously booted itself up so I had a look to see what it was doing. Turns out it was just doing a self update. However I hadn't played on it in ages so I figured I'd have a go on Astro Bot. Apparently I was only a few stages away from completing it so I've now finished it!

2 new releases arrived today. The first is the second novel from Chris Broad, the man behind Abroad In Japan on YouTube. The second is the 4K release of Nirvana The Band The Show The Movie. A movie which I saw having known nothing about it and found myself loving it. I look forward to viewing both!

Coincidentally, I recently took delivery of this wonderful new Darkwing Duck t-shirt which was part of the D23 range. I was surprised to see it still available and I was further surprised to see it was available in my size :)

It seems that Disney has a stronger hold on central Europe with all the Disney comics you get there. There was a huge amount on offer at CdG airport. It doesn't feel like we get many of the Disney comics in the UK

The other stage show I saw during this visit was Mickey and the Magician. I've seen it many times before but I absolutely love it and this time we had seats front and centre. In this show Mickey trains to be a magician by encountering various Disney characters. I'd really recommend seeing it

I finally got to see "The Lion King: Rhythm of the Pride Lands" which is an abridged 30 min version of the Lion King stage show. It's been going for 10 years but I had missed it until now. Honestly, I loved it. Even though it was quite rushed, the performers were excellent, especially Scar

I thought both were fantastic but Cascade of Lights blew me away. It had drones, fireworks, pyro, water jets, water drones, water fireworks and projections onto water. None of the videos really did it justice but it was an incredible show and really has to be seen in person!

At the end of the day, Disney do what they call the "kiss goodnight" to say goodbye to guests. This takes the form of an evening spectacular show at closing time and with there being two parks, there's one in each park. Tales of Magic in Disneyland and Cascade of Lights in Disney Adventure World

In terms of snacks, there was a huge amount on offer. Gone are the days where everything is Nutella and shortbread, there's actually some variety. With my limited appetite, I didn't try a lot of it but what I did have I very much enjoyed!

We also visited Walt's a restaurant themed around Walt Disney's favourite foods prepared in a fancy way. We also did the PYM Kitchen buffet and also Captain Jack's. All of the restaurants we did were excellent and helped show that you can get decent food at DLP, it's not cheap though

As seen in those photos, we saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy at the Royal Banquet, a €100 buffet with characters at the 5 star Disneyland Hotel. I did it for the experience. The food was very nice but with my limited appetite, I don't feel like it's a sensible choice. Also it's a bit manic

Despite the crowds, we still had a fun time. My favourite thing to do at Disney parks is to meet characters. I was lucky enough to meet Donald Duck in 3 different outfits, Mickey in 2 and also Goofy, Minnie, Daisy, a very energetic Pluto and my favourites, Chip and Dale

During our stay, both parks were insanely busy. I think there was a sign declaring that the parks were at capacity every day we went. This was reflected in the high crowd levels & high wait times. It was probably the melting pot of there being a passholder event, a Lorcana event & just nice weather
Indiana Jones et Le Temple Du Péril at a 60 minute wait time which is pretty much unheard of as that ride never has a long wait

Elsewhere in the park you have the Toy Story land, Ratatouille inspired area (which is still a bit odd being Paris themed in Paris) and Pixar land (where you get Cars and Crush's Coaster). There definitely feels like there's a more cohesive theme with each land (or should I say world) now

Last time I went to the park, the Avengers Campus (Marvel land) was new and I still think that's also a solid addition to the park. I may get lynched for saying this but I think Flight Force is a better indoor rollercoaster than Hyperspace Mountain due to the launch into an inversion

land which is currently under construction and will be themed around The Lion King (the 1993 version fortunately). I imagine that's at least 2 years away from opening though. I enjoyed the Frozen ride having had the chance to ride it 4 times though we did get evacuated off it the last time we rode.

And while there's only 2 new rides, one being a rethemed tea cup ride and the other being a clone of the same ride in other parks, I felt like they were a solid addition. Personally, I've never been too fussed by the Frozen movies but the new area looks fantastic and it makes me excited for the next

Aside from the crap new name, I was blown away by how much better Disney Adventure World is now that Adventure Way and the World of Frozen have opened up. The park feels like it has doubled in size since I last went and it really needed something like this. There's some fantastic new food offerings.

As someone who last went to the park 2 years ago however, there wasn't really anything new on offer in the main park but considering what they've been doing with the other park, it's not surprising. The park still has some excellent rollercoasters and dark rides. Big Thunder & Pirates are highlights

Now into my thoughts about Disneyland Paris Park. We happened to visit between the summer season and Halloween season which meant there's no special shows or parades, just the regular Stars on Parade which has been running for 10 years now. The parade is still good but nothing new if you've seen it

Home now, safe and sound. Which is less than I can say for Mickey who has sadly lost a hand. The good news is that it's an easy fix with a spot of glue and it'll be seamless due to the sleeve hiding the fracture

The good news is that my tax refund (which is one small benefit of living outside the EU) was accepted so I'll be getting €57 back on my purchases. Security was fine if a bit disorganised. I just had everything in one bag. Passport control however looks horrendous so I may have to join that soon

Picked up my own pair of trouble makers, Tower of Terror styled Bellhop Chip and Dale as my last souvenir of my time here. Not got long left, I'm good for rides now so just been wandering around Disney Adventure World. It's so much better than when I was here last, 2 years ago :)

Ah man, I'm so happy I don't mind showing my face. All week Chip and Dale have not been available anywhere to meet but today on my last day with hours to go, I found them meeting and happily got in line. My heart is so full now, just how I needed to end my trip 😻😻😻

Thanks to @macsenred.bsky.social, we were able to get a very good view of the evening firework show at the Disneyland castle. Sadly, there were construction walls up as the bridge to the castle entrance is under maintenance but the show was still fantastic. I even got some nice firework photos :)

So it's been a busy day at DLP since my last update. I met up with Goofy, got a Belgian waffle, park hopped, did Frozen again and saw a celebration in Arendelle, ate at the Regal View lounge, park hopped again saw the parade, ate at Captain Jack's, bought figurines and am now waiting for fireworks

Woke up early this morning so left as quietly as I could to let my party going roomies to get some more sleep. Turns out I was too early to go through security so I wondered around the hotels a bit. Once in the parks, I did Big Thunder Mountain twice and am now on my second ride of Space Mountain

I stopped posting yesterday after I met up with my friends but I had a fantastic day. I managed to clock up over 35,000 steps! Needless to say, my feet are worn out but I'm ready to do it all over again. I only briefly got to see the new area but the nighttime spectacular was incredible
