I was flipping through cards for my cube last night to make some swaps, and... it was just a joyful time. Seeing each of these cards made me so happy.

Personally I'd treat people playing Harry Potter Magic cards the same as I would someone casting Invoke Prejudice, or who unrolls a playmat to reveal an AI generated bikini model: "Are you aware what this conveys?" [No] "I'll hold your hand through this..." [Yes] "Find someone else to play with."

My prerelease deck. The first round of the night was with an Izzet deck that I quickly changed between rounds to what you see here. Craftwork Crusher is bonkers. moxfield.com/decks/Yf39Vu...

Prerelease 9/25/26 - Reality Fracture - None

Went 2-1. Opened with an Izzet deck that ran very poorly, then quickly scrambled to put this deck together for the last two rounds. Sideboard has the rest of the pool.

Not gonna lie, "big mana sink" activated abilities are huge blind spots for me in Limited. I ignore them even though I know I should try to use all of my mana each turn. I'm working on it.

Back to trombonin', Mike.

5-panel comic by War and Peas. Panel 1: A man wearing a fedora watches TV. The screen says, "Hey, you at home!" Panel 2: The TV ad continues: "Are you being held captive by a group of raccoons and forced to play in their free-jazz band?" with a call-now number. Panel 3: The man picks up his phone and dials. Panel 4: A raccoon hand zips the TV off with a remote. Panel 5: The man sits surrounded by raccoons in a messy room. One hands him a bass. A raccoon says, "Back to trombonin' Mike." Mike gulps.

My draft win percentage is only 37% this year 🫠 Which to be fair, is higher than last year (28%) over a higher number of games, so I AM improving... it's just so slow.

Queued up against one of these in Brawl that was "oops, all counterspells". I don't get the logic. Nevermind that it wasn't fun for me, it didn't work with their commander. It was funny seeing them cascade into an Aetherize, though.

Quandrix, the Proof

Legendary Creature — Elder Dragon

Flying, trample

Cascade (When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card that costs less. You may cast it without paying its mana cost. Put the exiled cards on the bottom in a random order.)

Instant and sorcery spells you cast from your hand have cascade.
