iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I’ve been playing both Control Resonant and Gears of War: E-Day this weekend. Really enjoying both. Along with all the hours I’ve put into Fire Emblem Fortune’s Weave, I’m going to be pretty much shelving everything else until at least two of these are beaten.

I saw the statement from Kojima Productions today — it doesn’t dispute any of our reporting so I don’t have much to add there. But I will add that (as I said a couple weeks ago), the Physint cancellation came after several months of negotiations between KoPro and Sony. Wasn’t exactly out of nowhere

Still messing around with DLSS Neural Rendering. Next I'm going to try it in an older game that could use a remaster and see how well it works.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on PC, with DLSS 5 RenoDX mods enabled. With the right settings, it looks way better than the base game. But also, the latest mods help with some of the performance issues.

If on PC, both are great. Using the 2.4ghz dongle is barely less performant than wired.

SloMoBackSlap @slomobackslap.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

This depends on which version of the G7 Pro. The shadow ember and standard white versions that are licensed for Xbox are wired only on Xbox. So depending on where they are playing the game may depend on if both wired or wireless are available.

I think the gamesir G7 pro is the best controller out there right now. But Gamesir has made so many variations that you need to make sure you’re buying the versions that suits your needs. For this gamer, I would also ask what kind of games they play, as that may change how much they like it.

Hats off to Gamesir on this G7 Pro 8k. Definitely the best results in polling rate, stick latency, and stick drift I've ever seen. Even ridiculous performance on 2.4Ghz wireless and Bluetooth.
