TIL that when you have the "Win 40 Raids with your trainee in your battle party" means your buddy doesn't need to be out of their ball. Don't worry about feeding it and putting it on your map, just do the raid with it in your party.

Been a good week. Started Mon morning with a shiny Stunky, followed by 3 Pikachu the same day. Tues was a bust, but Wed saw 2 more shiny Pikachu & a Shiny Beldum Lucky Trade. A shiny Totodile hatch, followed by TWO MORE shiny Pikachu on Thurs & then a shiny Lucky Moltres & another Pika on Fri.
