genuine question for all tcg players what motivates you to compete at major events?

110

PokeDuels @pokeduels.bsky.social · 19h

it still feels so weird to me that the Scarlet & Violet era of the tcg ended with two sets that have zero pokemon from Scarlet & Violet era

i've always wondered why the english prints of cards didn't get regulation marks until "D" in sword and shield era when japan started with "A" at the start of sun and moon this is probably one of the silliest difference between english and japanese cards

apparently tcgmasters is still unknown to a lot of people... chat if you wanna test online use tcgmasters. it's so fast paced, mobile friendly, and there's undo buttons even when playing against friends i love it so much

PokeDuels @pokeduels.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

i'd love to take this season seriously and try for a worlds invite again but i also dislike the constant stress from competing at a higher level i like events a lot more when it literally doesn't matter how i do and i can just have fun
