So I bought a bag of chips. Lays, I know but they are made in Canada from Canadian grown potatoes. Couldn’t help but notice the size of them. I remember when chips were the size of your hand. These aren’t much bigger than twice the size of a loonie. The entire bag. Small pot, I know.

On our walk this morning Ricky picked up a piece of wood and carried it for 3km. He hasn’t grabbed a stick in well over a year but this piece of firewood had some appeal for some reason.

Good morning! It’s a beautiful day for the annual Gran Fondo. Riders have come from across Canada to ride here in Clare today. I met someone from Victoria on Friday who’s riding the 89km course that will go past our house. 74 are from NB. Ride safely! 🚴🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

They arrive in June and leave at the end of August. The males leave around two weeks before the females. They make tiny nests in the trees around our property and have lots of babies. I love their cute chirping sound. Turn the volume up.

These are the raspberries. We brought two canes from Ontario and now we have hundreds of. There must have been a thousand bees on them when I took this photo. They’re late harvest so it’ll be another two or three weeks but they’ll bear fruit into November.

No, this is the latest in off-road camping. My stepson has a bigger one that has a side awning that you can stand up to change in as well. But it takes longer to setup and tear down. Mine has gas struts to open it.
