Hearing from NHL sources tonight: 1 - Rantanen deal had been in the works for a while 2 - Everyone curious what Avs are cooking at 2C with assets + space 3 - No one understands what Chicago did here. Flipping Hall at deadline (with retention) could have gotten a 3rd itself
