Should have posted this on August 5! ♪～Happy 14th birthday, Curiosity! ～♪ It's been five years since I painted my birthday buddy! She is actively scaling a mountain and studying eroded sediment layers. It's been amazing to see the resurgence of interest in NASA and space science projects! 𖥔 ݁ ˖

A wide shot of a Martian landscape and sunset with stars visible in the purple and orange sky. The mars rover Curiosity is in the center of the composition facing the viewer, backlit by the sun with a star and sundog framing the robot. There are glowing white music notes for the last stanza of the Happy Birthday song floating in the starry sky, representing Curiosity's first anniversary on August 5, 2023, when scientists used vibrations from an instrument to have the robot 'sing' happy birthday to itself in celebration.

drawings from a rp I'm in where Rocky mysteriously wakes up in a human body one day. ... And then immediately dumb sniffing shenanigans ensue I guess, lol. #gracerocky #grocky #rocktiz

A series of colored drawings of Dr. Ryland Grace from Project Hail Mary and a human design of Rocky, the Eridian engineer.

In the top left drawing, Grace and Rocky are screaming in surprise at each other. Grace is in the dormitory bunk on the hail Mary, Rocky is on the floor. Rocky is naked, but the drawing cuts off rather than show skin below the chest, save for one raised knee. We see him from the back. He has tattoos on his shoulders and arms analogous to the carvings he has in the movie. He has a swooping, wavy mop of black and silver hair based on his puppeteer and voice actor, James Ortiz. Grace is wearing a snug white T-shirt and maroon boxer briefs. He's also slimmer than in the movie.

In the other drawings, Rocky has a light blue blanket wrapped around him to cover up, provided by Grace. Grace kneels to check on him, asks the ship computer to dim the lights, (Eridians are blind and Rocky is very overstimulated by light) and provides a shirt and sweatpants for Rocky to change into.

After remarking that he can now smell things, (another sense Eridians don't have) Grace apologizes, saying that the only things to smell are him and his dirty laundry. Rocky leans in and sniffs Grace's neck and shoulder to check, disconcerted by the idea that Grace might smell unpleasant. In the top-right drawing he tells Grace that he smells fine while Grace gapes at him with shock and embarrassment.

Rocky then demands to be sniffed in return, explaining that they need information. They don't know where this body came from, after all. Grace asks "excuse me??" At first, but by the bottom right drawing he's given in, and he's sniffing the crook of Rocky's neck in return. He reports that Rocky smells "salty and sweet... Wait why? Why sweet??"

There's a small doodle in the center of the page noting the current size difference between the characters. Grace is 6' 150lb, and Rocky is 6'1, 180lb.

i can't believe they actually made heavy and medic canon AND married holy shit guys edit suggested by @/wenkicai on tumblr i HAD to make it a real thing #tf2 #heavymedic #tf2comic7

A screenshot of the 7th issue of the Team Fortress Comics, specifically the panel where everyone is seated at the table, cropped to show only Heavy and Medic. It's edited to put wedding rings on Medic's and Heavy's hands (the latter's edited to be shown, since it's hidden in the original panel; a text added above it saying "it's there. trust me").

KPop Demon Hunters was actually great. Here is my hot take: Bobby was the hottest man in the whole movie. No joke. He loved his girls, he took care of them, he was FUCKING ADORABLE, I just loved him. Immensely. #KPopDemonHunters #KPDHBobby

I just think he's neat #kpopdemonhunters #artpost

a collage of fanart illustrations of the manager Bobby from the recent netflix animated film Kpop Demon Hunters, wearing diffferent fashions because he's just fun to draw, all right, leave me alone. Clockwise from top right: Him with a korean skincare facepack eating shrimp chimps, talking on a phone with a brown jacket, making a little heart with his fingers, yelling directions with an earpiece in his ear and a leather jacket, him wearing comfy airport clothes with a purse and airplane tickets, Zoey informing him that he's famous on bluesky, a regular sort of outfit with a pink overshirt and striped shirt under it, him freaking out a bit and grabbing his hair with a tanktop on.
