Yeah, I would say that gameplay wise, Cyberpunk 2077 is better, for a lot of obvious reasons. Roleplay wise, Nivalis Nights captures the vibe of being a person in the world a lot better. Plus I find it way easier to play a casual cozy game than action lately, I'm too tired for action lol

Takua and Jaller I made for my son. Didnt have the same parts for both, so Takua wound up lanky and slim, Jaller stocky and buff. #bionicles #bioniclemoc

They're removing Patrick from the show, so, makes sense

I figured it was a simple enough thing to do with basic shapes, with enough weird angles to figure out some of the tools. I think im gonna just keep making it from scratch a few times to really hammer in how things work. Then I need to design bionicle parts for my kid, he has demands lol

I'm going for more high res realistic, which is more how it would probably look if I had painted it in the right view. This was also really stupid quick shading/lighting, just trying to figure out the basics of how things work in the 30 mins before work ended while I had nothing to do.

Housing market so devastated by real estate developers I'm seriously considering a property that is mostly unbuildable because of a protected creek that runs through it. I'll build a weird hallway house if that's what it takes to own property.

The struggle of having two fantastic game ideas, and the (incredibly rusty) skills to make them... But one is a gameplay style you don't enjoy at all, and the other is a gameplay style that requires being waaaay better at math.

Im so burnt out, the thing im most excited about is being able to spend at least 1 day this month where I don't have to do anything. I just want one day where I dont have to leave the house or clean or cook.

When you do decide to work on it again, if you ever want some help, I would be happy to edit or write or whatever, i would just live to contribute if i could. I was a game balancer for video games in the late 2000s/early 2010's, and ive also been 5th assing my own TTRPG (reposting from threads)

I'm just upset that of all the generic video-game-isekai-esque stories, Hardcore Leveling Warrior is always missed despite being the most interesting one of the genre.

I do like them boycotting Netflix, like what is the goal here? Get Netflix to cancel the show?

Remember when Star Wars discourse was about The First Order being unrealistic? That it was ridiculous for there to be a resurgence of The Empire with incompetent leadership driven by pettiness & full of infighting. Does that still seem unrealistic? Because that scenario seems pretty realistic now.

The amount of lore, character, world building and story that has been packed in to 16 minutes of animated music videos for Mystery Skulls Animated is actually insane.

Then I got made fun of in school because nobody believed me about Blonde Goku and the Green guy that isn't Piccolo. Which, to be fair, "ive seen it, i have it on a movie, but it's at my grandma's farm in another city and im not allowed to take it home" is a pretty hard sell.

My aunt brought me episodes of anime she recorded when she lived there. It was like 2.5 episodes of Dragon Ball Z, the episodes where Cell becomes perfect and fight Vegeta and Trunks. I watched that in japanese no idea what it was the summer before DBZ started airing in English.

I hope the new Spaceballs movie pulls a Goat Simulator, and they release Spaceballs 3: Under New Ownership, with a bunch of references to Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money, a movie that doesnt exist. Then they can also sell box sets of Spaceballs: A Trilogy in Two Parts.

Use the bottom and top parts of ships and you can force the ladder placements where you want them, or avoid ladders. Just use bottom pieces for upper floors

Some of the best world building I think I've ever seen is the Delicious in Dungeon concept of healing potions and magic just rapidly speeding up the healing process, so you experience incredible pain and itching as you feel days/weeks of healing in seconds/minutes.
