I think when I do the customer service portion of my job now, people think I’m an AI. (It’s all through email platform, not face to face.) Which is very funny because if I was an AI, I don’t think I would only respond within reasonable EST hours and take at least 10 minutes to reply. 🤷‍♀️

The only time I hate the “I’ve never heard of this” attitude is when it’s used to dismiss the thing they’ve never heard of as irrelevant. Working as a curator particularly in books, would have my placements questioned a lot because “I’ve never heard of it.” Sorry you can’t assume you’re ignorant?

Overrode my shy, scared introvert tendencies tonight and went to a recurring queer club event to check it out and it was super fun! I told my husband we’d only go for an hour so he wouldn’t die and we stuck to it. Sometimes you can pay just $7 for an hour of good time!

I’ve got a birthmark on my eyelid that 99.999% of the time I don’t care about. People usually don’t bring it up. Probably don’t even notice. But then the dentist or whatever doctor will be like “did you hurt your eye?” and I feel bad for a few hours.

Trying to listen to other DJs do Halloween sets on YT. Ideally with mainstream music. Charli xcx and underscores are on tour together, in Philly tonight, and I was hoping I could snag a ticket for around $100. The lowest I’ve seen it go was $122.50 though, and now the lowest is back to $164.50. I’m normally unwilling to spend over $100 for a ticket to anything that’s not a festival.
