Solasta 2 has 500K wishlists on Steam. That's not surprising at all because the first game was one of the best cRPG's I've ever played and the second one looks like it will be even better. If this game isn't on your radar yet it really should be.

This is awful news. I had so much fun with Outer Worlds 2 and felt that it was a significant improvement over the first game. Microsoft really screwed Obsidian by trying to charge people $80 for this title. I still don't understand the reasoning behind that move.

I am happy with Larian's response and appreciate the transparency demonstrated in this AMA. Most developers would've just went into turtle mode and hoped the heat would die down. It's interesting to see that a lot of other people are not nearly as satisfied. Hopefully Larian can earn back trust.

Is this fair? Fans of Arc Raiders are going pretty crazy over Eurogamer giving it a 2/5. Eurogamer docked it several points due to Embark Studios use of AI voices. Personally I think it's fair but I'm biased against AI and I don't care about the game. Any thoughts?

Rue Valley is launching tomorrow! A link to my review is below but here's a brief summary: PROS: Strong narrative, time loop works well, fluid character stats & it's very well written. CONS: Annoying late game quests & ending didn't hit for me. Overall I had a good time with the game. :)

Chris Avellone believes Obsidian has already moved on to Avowed 2 and I'm very conflicted about this. I enjoyed TOW2 significantly more than Avowed but I still looked forward to where Obsidian would go with it. This also makes me wonder what are Obsidian's reasons for moving on so quickly. ⬇️

Patch is only in beta but I'm calling it now: Pillars of Eternity is much more enjoyable in Turn Based than it was using RTwP. Some issues to work out but I'm REALLY excited to do a new playthrough. Lining up Durance behind the frontline to use reach is so much easier now.

Turn based mode in Pillars of Eternity 1 will have a public beta starting on 11/5. The game will let you switch between TB & RTwP. They have also made several upgrades so the experience is even better than in Deadfire. Obsidian this looks INSANE.

Happy Anniversary. I remain thankful that we received another Dragon Age game and that there was an end to Solas' story. I know it will be a long time before it happens but I remain hopeful that one day the series does continue.

Twenty-years ago I bought an XBOX specifically so I could play KOTOR. I've been a massive David Gaider fan ever since. Last night I got to pick his brain about Baldur's Gate 2 for over an hour. I think I did a pretty good job of not being a fanboy but wow what an experience.

Just saw Frankenstein in theatres and it was PURE CINEMA. Incredible acting, gripping story, and fantastic writing. The makeup & wardrobe team also did an outstanding job. Probably a little longer than it needed to be but still well worth seeing at the movies.

Man the Starfinder: Afterlight Kickstarter is STILL going strong and now almost sits at 350K! Two more tiers are almost complete. Sounds like this game is going to have quite a bit of voice acting which is phenomenal.

My channel has repeatedly brought up Tactics Ogre: Reborn and that I should give it a try. For the past couple of streams I've been checking it out and holy cow it's been so much fun. This is my first Tactics game and turns out I might be a fan of the genre.

Last night I got a chance to livestream the Esoteric Ebb Steam demo. NO QUESTION I'll be playing this game when it comes out. Incredible art and fantastic character creation combined with a great premise. It's looking like a must buy for fans of both D&D and Disco Elysium.
