That’s…….. very heavy handed what. If you’re that upset about the art still existing, delete it, don’t punish people??

Had a dumb idea- Ww getting woken up by the mechanics of Vash's arm readjusting themselves in the middle of the night like a wife being woken up by her husband snoring- instead of "babe, turn over" it's: #vashwood

It’s SOOOO good I can’t recommend it enough and the MC is like. My Type of Character so much he’s fantastic. And the ninth house trilogy for sure is also right for this time of year in a lot of ways. If you do I hope you enjoy them!!

chris 🌺 @slamncram.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Oh it definitely is 🥲 one is Leigh Bardugo’s Ninth House trilogy, the other is VE Schwab’s Villains trilogy that just had the last book come out today (that was I’m Very Excited for as it’s one of my favourite series overall)

Honestly I would really benefit from those hours 😭 and yeaaaaah. As you saw…. It speaks for itself on why it’s not the lightest read. Good, but sweet baby J……….

I have to finish reading the book I’m currently working on (which was a hard read before and got harder with recent events), so I can reread 2 different trilogies that just had their final books come out. How to do all this in one week while working FT and also having a life outside book?? Unsure.

OKAY YES. VINDICATION LOL my dad was like “WHY are you crying” and like sure now that I know what’s coming and I’m older I’m like “okay that’s a little corny” but part of me is still yelling to backflip behind the couch every time

chris 🌺 @slamncram.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Omg this one got me too. The birthday party footage sent me backflipping over the couch like OH NO

If you think an artist's style looks like AI but you can scroll back through their portfolio and see them doing the same work before 2020, congrats, you're not looking at an AI grifter. You're looking at one of the original victims whose entire style AI stole.

whumptober day 1 "I'm Fine" and "I feel like million dollars" with injured #vash and #wolfwood taking care of him I will never learn what short short form is 🚶‍♀️

They've been walking for a while now, a hike with all their stuff and Vash's leg not working properly low on the list of favourite activities. Wolfwood grew more and more concerned about that injury that slowly but steadily drained blood from Vash's body, all colors from his face gone and forgotten. Vash was too insistent to not patch it up until they move far enough from any dangers.

"Not yet. Not safe enough."
"Is it safer to walk with," Wolfwood gestures vaugely at Vash's lower area, "whatever this bunch of metal dug in you is?"

Vash closes his eyes. His breath is very proper — that's the best Wolfwood could say, and his face — controlled, not peaceful, controlled. But the way he grips at Wolfwood's shoulder sells how much it costs him to look up at Wolfwood and calmly explain, voice tired and low toned: "Once we start working on it, I'll probably be immobile for a few hours. Let's get secured for the night."

*

Vash's thigh is covered in blood that pools through the holes in his trousers, his knee barely bending as he shifts to lower himself against the stone wall of their night's stay. It's not a cozy hotel but it's decently covered from the wind, and Vash finally decided it's safe enough for his likes, so who is Wolfwood to complain? Nights aren't so cold this season.
"How'd you holding up?"

He looks like he's about to pass out at any moment and Wolfwood is both surprised and terrified of how he's still conscious. He smiles weakly, the red on his teeth making a grotesque mismatch with his wax-pale face and the way he salutes with his right hand after his prosthetic doesn't cooperate.
"Like sixty million double dollars!"
"Sixty million double dollars don't force a few iles walk while actively bleeding out. Shit, can't believe you got people prepared to hunt you now. This guy had equipment!"

Vash chuckles dryly. "Terrible times to be me, I guess..."
