Slakkmichael @slakkmichael.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Can Bsky go one fucking day without having problems?! This is the second day in a row to have outages! I'm getting fucking tired of it!

Slakkmichael @slakkmichael.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Crap! Forgot to post this but, I've finally completed the last expansion for Quake! (At least until if they decided to release another one five years later.) Also, I've been playing this on (And the others.) nightmare difficulty and been going for all the achievements and I've gotten them all too!

Slakkmichael @slakkmichael.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Bruh, since when did this turn into fucking Touhou?!

031

Slakkmichael @slakkmichael.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

NGL, I like the aesthetics for the final level. It kind of reminds of the Blast pit chapter in Half-Life.

sure it's annoying when fandom behavior cheapens or ruins non-fandom things for you, but i have some good news. you can make 90% of those problems vanish by disengaging with fandom. their apparent omnipresence says less about fandom being powerful and more about your level of participation in fandom

Well this is certainly, an interesting Easter egg.

Slakkmichael @slakkmichael.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

My thoughts so far after playing it for a few hours, I'm not really a fan of the upgrade system. It just feels weird having some RPG mechanics in a game that never had them before.

Slakkmichael @slakkmichael.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

Alright, time to tackle the final expansion for Quake 1.

A silly 2 part Neptunia comic lol #Neptunia #ネプテューヌ

Noire (Hyperdimension Neptunia) giving Neptune a bag full of fresh salad, telling her "Don't take this personally, but I'm giving you a fresh bag of salad. It's time you start eating healthier now."

Neptune proceeds to start eating the salad like a bag of potato chips, remarking how delicious they are, saying "Wow, that's yummy! Man, I've been missing out!" While Noire shouts "Don't eat it like it's a bag of chips!" Well, if it works, it works.

The second expansion for Quake is complete! I won't lie, despite it only having two episodes, it felt much longer than the first expansion. Doesn't help that I got softlocked at one point, lol.

Slakkmichael @slakkmichael.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Okay, fuck this part! This shambler right here didn't spawn the first time coming through here, which ended up getting me softlocked here!

Back when I used to make maps for Source Engine games in Hammer I used to ignore advice not to use the Carve Tool. I was wrong to do this. So I made this meme.

A photo of Lebron James next to the Hammer Map Editor Carve Tool and the output of the tool. A piece of map geometry has been cut up into several pieces in order to facilitate a cylinder-shaped hole, decreasing map performance and increasing complexity.

The caption reads "Lebron James reportedly used the Carve Tool"

i always hate when people discuss neptunia and go "ohhh my god i hate that they cut out the fanservice that was the series' driving force and charm" like no????? the fanservice only made up like 3-5% of past games' content, the only reason people remember it is because it was on screen for -

#Neptunia #Blender3D Sat down on a WIP today, gave Noire's Great Hall some love. Had to re-do the desk, I guessed its shape wrong. :P Also fixed the colonnade layout/base, rescaled the carpet, added the elevator, terrace doors, and started the right-wall shelves. I like how it's coming together. :)

the entire reason the gaming industry is so dogshit right now is the domino effect from "putting aside" lootboxes. "putting aside" any controversy only serves to benefit from the people causing it, this isn't new and we shouldn't "let it slide sometimes"
