part 7 but note if you do not have the imagination to create your own paintings, ideas, worlds, then maybe another or a former line of work should be taken into consideration.

,part 6 or maybe they did know and just didn't care, or thought no one would notice. this individual has been called on this by others, hopefully they will disappear and this will be a thing of the past..

part 5 The science fiction community is a tight knit family, the pros and bigger name fans all know each other and many of us are lucky to call each other friends. This individual is a relative new comer to the PNW art scene and how our world works. word gets out quickly when discovered,

part 4 it is a sickening feeling, luckily the artist and their work is not very good, but to see all these pieces based off an artists work, its a very uncomfortable feeling.

part 3But...discovering art by an individual that not only is trying to copy technique but subject matter that an artist is known for, encompassing I don't know how many paintings, dozens upon dozens, some bordering on plagiarism,

part 2 All well and good. Ideas bounce off one another at times, takes you off into another tangent based off the inspiration of the original image. Part of being an artist.

part1 They say imitation is the most sincere form of flattery...maybe, in my opinion it can be taken to far. As young artists we learn new technique and tricks to incorporate into our tool box. you see an artists work and it might inspire a response, an idea off from the image, All well and good.

Sending a HUGE thank you to all the artists who reached out. For this project, I've decided Jeff Sturgeon @skyship.bsky.social is the best fit. I've been wanting to work with Jeff for over a decade. So jazzed to have him doing the cover for The Re-Imagined Princess.
