Guess who actually went to bed early at like 10 PM and is still awake at 2 AM? I don’t know why I even bothered.

Rose @skyrimrose.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

Truly, looking at the vanilla Skyrim horses and their movements from behind as I ride, it makes me think exactly of the Toy Story horse; a plump fluffy stuffed horse. I guess that's another reason I don't like the vanilla horses. My brain just goes 'stuffed animal,' lol.

Looking through my arts again... pretty lady, very proud of her lips. Two different attempts at my main Skyrim Dragonborn character. I think I like the second attempt best, though not quite fan of the eyes, and the first looks a bit happier.

Digital portrait art of a brunette woman with feline-esque characters such as pointed, slightly furred ears pierced with silver jewelry, and cat-like golden eyes.

Digital portrait art of a Skyrim altmer, with golden eyes and golden hair shorn buzzcut on each side with a long strip down the middle. Also, freckles.

Once again, it is time for one of my favorite pictures of my cat. :D Just look at him. "Mother. What are you still doing in bed, when it is light? Where is my food."(his mealtime may still not have been for some time. Anyway he just looks so... so... ugh cuteness aggression)

A fluffy orange cat framed by a window, fur illuminated by the sun through the blinds, stares imperiously down their nose upon the photographer as said photographer lays comfortable in bed. The cat is hungry.

A shot I really like from Skyrim, when trying out different ENB type things for Community Shaders. Can't even remember which one this is, to be honest, I've looked at so many.

Made antipasto salad with the leftover noodles/pasta. So good. The cucumber and tomatoes are for my mom. I don’t eat those. 😅 I’m a basic mozzarella, olives, pepperoni antipasto person.

Made mac&cheese for our dinner tonight, all by myself. Wasn’t nearly as cheesy as I’d hoped but both mom & dad really liked it, & it was very good. I cooked too much pasta though so there was a lot plain left over that I set aside; maybe we’ll make antipasto salad or tuna salad. :) 1/

Anyone see any four leaf clovers? 😅😆 Sitting here in our lawn, which has a bazillion patches of clovers looking for four leafs ones.

I have an image of little portraits smooshed together of all my characters. And I'm just realizing how many of them have freckles. I guess I like freckles. But it's also hard to get Skyrim characters to have depth & not look flat-faced, & I guess freckles helps w/ that.

Once again trying to decide a name for my Skyrim orc lady character. It's so hard. I don't really like any orc names. But looked through em yet again; & (for now) narrowed them down to Darezha(Dar), Kiva, Mordra(Mor), Morgra/Mogra, Solgra(Sol), or Yatava(Tava/Tav). Kinda leaning Yatava or Mordra. 1/

Tornado warning here; we(my town) be or were between two of them. And some CRAZY lightning like geez. And clouds. Gabe seems fascinated by the lightning, not at all bothered which surprised me. I dunno how sensitive cats eyes are so I finally turn him round myself, to face away from window.

Posted some cat pics/my son in a discord & when I was going through them it was all, 'oh god... oh my god he's so cute. I can't. ajd;kfjdjsadsa he's so fluffy goddamnit-' type stuff. The cuteness aggression is real. I just wanna squish him.

Guess I was about due for another breakdown-was sobbing my brains out while half standing, half laying on bed, also clutching at my cat w/ my face half in his fur as he loafed. He was very nice, didn't leave or kick me in the face or anything. Might sleep good tho. If he doesn't wake me up at 5am.

Went to wegmans with mum after a baby sprinkle thingy… got another succulent cause I couldn’t help myself I guess. No idea if there’s room on my windowsill. >..> might re-pot it cause it ain’t got breathing room.

In a shopping cart, is a small sun-shaped succulent with many long, thick leaves. Reminds me of some kind of flower.

Been watching people play Project Zomboid for a while now. Looks really interesting, but the in-depth mechanics remind me of BG3; so I doubt I could play. So been looking at open world zombie games, ended up getting VEIN. Mechanics, but not to a crazy level; & still scares the shit outta me. Yay? 😆

Fucking ivy mites… I swear to god their population was utterly eviscerated. New leaves been growing for a few weeks now. … and then tonight I notice little spots where the leaf looks eaten… look on the underside, and it’s those fucking mites. God damn it. Fucking fuckass little fuckers.

brain: I have so many Skyrim mods, I should try to trim down... 1,200 is a lot... also brain: no, this one should keep... this one too... this one too... A lot of them are actually armor mods that are esl & I gotta craft, & a surprising amount of dialogue mods... little misc ones I gotta keep...

Kaidan and Derkeethus get married! Finally. After a couple diff mod tries on couple diff homes, a bless home type spell only worked on a certain house probs cause it had kid beds. The mods for just getting only a spouse to recognize a modded home without kids, don’t seem to really work. : /

A Skyrim screenshot of two people at an altar of Mara, getting married. I dunno what 'm doing wrong; I swear to gods every time I open this sketchbook app on ipad, my map is blurry(er?) again & I gotta redraw cleaner/crisper pen lines... I miss corel painter so damn much. None of the many apps I've tried have all the features/work as 'smoothly/intuitively' as I wish.

Working on my game/book universe map, completely altering it so in case anything happens w/ The Elder Scrolls, I'll have my own universe for my ex-Tamriel characters that won't be copyrighted/for anyone but me, so I never lose them. Tryin for the map make sense for characters & be 'similar but not.'

Digital art of a work-in-progress map approximately 50k miles 'round the equator. Currently, is two continents and two large islands. Northernmost is entirely snow and ice; and the second continent is about in the middle of the oceans, and has many biomes-forest, snow, ash, desert, swamp, etc.

Disclaimer I’ve never seen a submarine up close. This is just for my brain, it’s just a fishy looking blob. If I ever do a serious art, I will actually Google what submarines look like. Same for the spoiler monster at end of Iron Lung, I saw it briefly in a YouTube video & that’s it. #BloodyMary

A digital cartoony pencil sketch of an ugly giant supernatural eel with dozens upon dozens of teeth, facing up against a woman with her palm up towards it, who is holding a submarine looking thing. In a speech bubble, she is saying ‘No. He is going to Mary, full of Grace.’

I think another reason I absolutely adore the Hail Mary/BloodyMary/etc fanfics is cause of the hope. Not that other fanfics don't have hope, & not that what was happening in Hail Mary & Iron Lung weren't dire or there's no Plot Stuff in the fanfics, but like, largely, they make me feel hopeful.
