Just to be sure: are you going to the top and swiping down to refresh, or are you going to the bottom and trying to continue scrolling beyond the bottom? I haven’t used the Android client, but I think to get more posts you need to scroll to the top and swipe down

There definitely are misfires, but they aren’t egregious because it uses other context to allow posts from people you have a history with. The other unlock is watching what groups the post is particular popular in… that has a lot of info.

Ideally it would consider both (and eventually will). This was the quickest reasonable way to ship it and it scales very well, but to get to goal accuracy we’ll definitely need to do more with post content

I hear that. It’s more pillar than influencer. I think 3 is important because it answers why you’re in the community, but it could be too literally (eg “You’re in this community because Tim is”) vs WHAT the community is (eg “the cluster of people who follow these 5 popular digital art accounts”)

It's a cluster of people who have high overlap in who they follow, usually structured around following the same larger accounts who post a lot. It's as much art as science because of course there's a lot of overlap all over the social graph
