My wife went to prison for two tears it was in Phoenix AZ. We lived in Palm Springs . 540 miles round trip. Every weekend. I was on hiway 10. I got pulled over for doing 103mph. California Highway Patrol. He wrote me up for 95 Mph because over 100 was a huge fine. He was my hero.

Got pulled over with two other guys for “grooving.” Bobbing and shaking our heads . 1968. I believe the song was “Born to be Wild” By Steppenwolf. The cop was in a neutral mood, bemused by our youthful antics. We got away with grooving!
