Eddie has worked so hard for the things he wants. His whole life, he has been chasing his dream of being some kind of rock legend, and
trying to find someone who makes it all a little less hard. When the gates of Hell open up in 1986, he finds that he doesn't have to chase things as fast as he has been. He stops running from good things, and gets Steve out of it.
In July of 1989, Eddie gets a letter. The only problem is in order to accept this offer he's worked so hard for, he has to choose between Hawkins with Steve, or Los Angeles with the band. Steve, who never wanted to intertere with Eddie's plans for his future, makes the decision for him. Now Eddie has to chase Steve, using only the things he knows about his boyfriend and the things he hopes are clues.
Eddie just hopes he isn't too late.
