That's Crew-12, isn't it?

Finally saw Hocus Pocus for the first time and I had a BLAST! I will be sure to watch this every year during Halloween! Check out my ★★★★½ review on Letterboxd! boxd.it/gGRmfT

A ★★★★½ review of Hocus Pocus (1993)

What could easily be a by-the-numbers cliché Halloween setup instead turns into a fun and funny tale laced with classic Disney magic throughout.

Disney will be releasing the original Die Hard Trilogy on 4K Steelbook on December 1. This will be the first time Die Hard 2 and Die Hard With a Vengeance will be released on 4K. Yippie Ki Yay, Mr. Falcon.

It's EASILY the best film this year and it's not even close. I gave it two thumbs down!

I cannot believe the number of people I'm seeing praising the new Skydance merger. "At least David Elison is a film fan." "At least they'll still give us physical media." "At least movies will still get a theatrical release." SO WHAT?! Have you seen who's in charge now?!

There are SO many great songs from SO many great movies to choose from, but I have to give it to The Circle of Life from The Lion King. The second the film starts and this song permeates your senses, you KNOW you're about to witness a masterpiece.

Mail call! The top three films are from Amazon's 3 for $33 sale. Decided to get a few Best Picture winners in 4K. Moana is for my 2026 Disney 4K collection. Hocus Pocus is because it's Halloween and I've never seen it and my wife really wanted to show it to me. I hope it's good!

So stop holding out hope that they'll one day suddenly start caring about you. They won't. They have no reason to. The only thing that can change how they use their power is removing it entirely. Until that happens, things will only get worse.

So many of us commoners have been waiting for these people to have their visit from the Three Ghosts. Most of them already have. They just don't care. Why should they? They're giving themselves the best lives possible. They ether don't believe in the afterlife, or don't care where they end up.

In A Christmas Carol, Scrooge is shown he is in danger of going to hell, so he chooses to be good instead. The problem nowadays, is the people in power know they're in danger of going to hell-so they just say "May as well be as evil as I want". More than one person has ACTUALLY said this. No joke.

It is often said Cimarron from 1931 is one of the weakest Best Picture winners in Oscar's history--and after watching it, I'm inclined to agree. You know it's bad when I was more entertained by The Broadway Melody of 1929. Check out my ★★ review of Cimarron on Letterboxd! boxd.it/gE2Rqt

AI isn't a "new beginning". It is the end. The ULTIMATE end. The end of creativity. The end of jobs. The end of every last bit of ourselves that makes us human. If left unchecked, it could--it WILL--be the end of humanity, and of this entire planet. Are we willing to let that happen?

I hate AI so, SO much. I'm editing my next video, and at one point in the video I say, "It's not just X, it's also Y". The reactionary part of my brain thought "Is this AI?" - AND I'M THE ONE WHO SAID IT. I hate, HATE, HAAAAAAAAATE how I instinctively suspect literally everything might be AI now.

Currently trying to navigate the ETA/visa process and book the airline flights but have run into some speed bumps on gender fields requiring a binary option. All my documents have X.
