Porcine [POR-syne] (adj.) - Of or relating to swine; resembling or having the characteristics of a pig. Used in a sentence: “Decades of gluttony and self-satisfaction have given him a porcine aspect that even the presidential portraitist was either unable or unwilling to disguise.”
A "Grandiloquent Word of the Day" meme for “Porcine” [POR-syne], defined as “Of or relating to swine; resembling or having the characteristics of a pig.” At right is a black-and-white antique illustration of a large, bristly pig resting on the ground. Beneath the definition, an example sentence reads: “Decades of gluttony and self-satisfaction have given him a porcine aspect that even the presidential portraitist was either unable or unwilling to disguise.”

Unsolicited writing advice, no. 2167: For maximum impact, try this: Put the most important word at the end of the sentence. Put the most important sentence at the end of the paragraph. That's all. Just try it. See what changes.
