The pokermon Balatro mod has given the game a second life for me. It has its quirks but it's so incredibly satisfying to build runs with it, would recommend it to anyone curious enough to try it

This game is a solid 7-8, one of my favs from the GC era that doesn't get a lot of hype. By today's standards it's got a few repetitive elements but it's still fun if you like finding secrets n stuff. Consider trying it 😁

an s-tier video game trope that isn't utilized nearly enough is entering a room/zone and you immediately hear music or singing, like Kass, Cornifer, or Eurydice. the switches that flick on in the brain when you hear them and just immediately need to chase it to the source is such a great feeling
