Morning! Tried to have a lie-in but my body clock decided otherwise... at least seeing the latter part of the sunrise hit the hills outside was a lovely sight 😊 definitely a good decision moving back to the cotswolds 🥰

Got home at 8:40pm, took the recycling out to the kerb, showered, cooked a ridiculous amount of stirfry (with mini spring rolls and kimchi obvs) that we're only just sitting down to eat at 10pm. Average Wednesday night tbh.

Didn't sleep great. Took well over an hour to drift off and then ended up waking up 2hrs before my alarm and just laying there with my eyes closed with various work scenarios playing out in my head. Need to nip these things in the bud asap so i can sleep better tonight...

Oh lovely, hubs said that a couple of people at his work have COVID atm, a few customers came in coughing and sneezing all over the place and one of our friends has just gotten over it... Think I'll be getting my flu jab and booster asap...

This year I've felt the most myself I've ever been. New job where I feel valued, more settled, hubs is amazing and some really amazing people in my life who I can't thank enough for being there for me & helping me be comfortable and open up to them.

Considering how much Enter Shikari have meant to me for almost 20 years, I'm not as upset at their announcement as I think some would assume I would be. It's the whole "you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain" thing for me.

Hubs cooked individual pies for dinner but wouldn't tell me what filling was in mine... he only went and got me a macaroni pie 😭 (IYKYK) This is A) one of MANY reasons I love him, and B) why I'll always struggle to lose weight 😂

I just realised that it's been just over 2 years since we moved into this house! Holy moly, what a fucking rollercoaster it's been... first year was a nightmare with my other half badly injuring his arm in the move (thankfully better now!) & doing a 4hr round trip every day for work all year...
