Fantastic visit to Concord Pharmacy to announce a £340m funding package for community pharmacy. We're making the most of highly skilled pharmacists like Saeed. Qualified pharmacists will be able to assess patients and prescribe medicines directly, giving patients more services closer to home.

Great project. It is essential that we use more British & Welsh steel in the offshore wind industry. By decreasing reliance on imported steel we can bolster energy security, create growth, secure local jobs, and support offshore wind deployment in the Celtic Sea and beyond.

Doctors' surgeries are the front door of the NHS. The changes we've made mean that more patients now say that accessing their GP is easier. By working with GPs we have also reduced pressures on hospital waiting lists. Lots done, lots more to do.

*NEW: GP announcement* 👨‍⚕️ £100m investment 🏥 1,000 GP surgery upgrades 📈 Up to 8 MILLION more appts each year 1 in 6 GP practices will be upgraded. This has only made possible thanks to Labour’s investment - opposed by every other party! Only Labour will get our NHS fit for the future.
