Apparently vanilla Star Destroyers are 1.6km long. By contrast the tip of the Gherkin to the Shard in London is 1.2km apart. So we can imagine one parked above London would be pretty impressive - see my scale sketch. In NYC it would cover 20 blocks. But YMMV....

A Star Destroyer over central London more or less to scale, its quite big.

Born in 1904 so he was too old to fly in combat (he retired as a pilot in 1931), during WWII he served as an instructor. Ended up stationed in Turkey. You sent me down a rabbit hole, here is his The London Gazette entry where he is listed as getting the AFC, but it does not say why:

Right, Wisdom is pointless in a TTRPG, goes without saying you’re going to use your knowledge & experience… Historically willpower replaced it quite quickly in BRP (CoC, RQ) and in WFRP but it’s not quite “discipline” without the skills too. Does WP+Skills=Discipline?
