I've been trying not to be chronically online as much. School started and I'm busy with that and other orgs, I'm sure that accounts for some of it. Its helped me slow and appreciate the art making more than the art posting. I'm a slow poster 🤷‍♂️

Here's some fall banners from previous years to see how other people's characters have filled the space!

an anthro ferret and wombat at a festive jacklantern campire. the ferret gestures wildly with a flaming marshmallow, singing his tail while the wombat gazes pleasantly into the flames

an anthro kitsune and an anthro pie martin sip coffee on a porch swing, behind them its raining heavily among fall leaves and pumpkins

a werewolf sneaks up on an anthro jaguar, who accidentally beams himself with a flashlight illuminating his cheeky pursuer in a spooky misty forest

an anthro alligator and an anthro snapping turtle sip coffee and read a book in adirondak chairs on a lake shore surrounded by fall leaf colored forests

An LGBT+ Lion Webcomic @ihopesocomic.bsky.social · 5h

Today is #InternationalLesbianDay so have some art of our girls, Storm and Hopeful, being a pair of gays!

A pair of lionesses cuddling. One is golden brown and the other is grey-brown. The background is a splodgy, paintery sort coloured with the lesbian flag colours.

Art of the same pair of lionesses cuddling in a pixel style, with the background being the lesbian flag.

Art of the same two lionesses, with the grey brown one licking the golden brown one on the cheek.

Art of the same two lionesses holding up the lesbian flag, the background is a dark brown one with a cloud, sun and stars pattern.

If you've ever been to Mount Baker, you might have wandered over to Artist Point or past any number of high mountain ponds in the summer. These often dark pools are surrounded by bare stones, grasses and lichens. And sometimes watched over by the Queen of the High Court #watercolor #dragons

A watercolor and gouache painting of a red and orange dragon on a pile of rocks looking up into the sky. Below the rocks is a dark pool of water with the reflection of the rocks and dragon in it. Signed Katie Croonenberghs 2024 and text kamakru.com

Another classic, not sure if I've already posted this one here.

The image is a six panel black and white comic.

Panel 1 - a girl sits at her desk in front of a computer, looking disheartened. She says, "I dont know if I should post this art, who would even want to see it?"

Panel 2- A new person bursts through the door in the background with a loud BAM

Panel 3- The new person pushes the girl out of the way, smushing her face in the process, while slamming their fist down on the keyboard.

Panel 4- The computer shows that the art has been posted

Panel 5- The person makes direct eye contact with the girl while pushing their finger against their own phone screen

Panel 6- A motion blur is added to the last panel, enhancing the impact of the new notifications on the new post. It reads, "(Friend) Liked Post just now" Followed by "(Friend) commented 'I FUCKING LOVE THIS AND I LOVE U'"

Underneath the last panel is a watermark that reads, Shubbabang

Two women share a gentle kiss beneath a sheer, sparkling veil bathed in soft, warm light. One has long blue hair, pointed ears, and wears a blue-and-gold sari with gold jewelry. The other has vibrant red hair and is clad in shining armor.
