Campaign anniversary session tonight👑 Can't believe Mire is 3 years old now 🍄💙 Thanks for all the fun and devastation, it was truly a rollercoaster, and I hope the ride never ends ✌️ #dnd #art #dndcharacter #oc

Digital illustration featuring our adventuring party (from the top left to right: Elinar, tiefling shadow monk, Sheireen - drow grave cleric, Mire - tiefling spores druid, Delphos -steel defender of Ianthe - half elf artificer, Béatrice - reborn high-elf rogue, and in the middle in front is Celeste -high-elf mage. In front are two birds, two of the party member's familiars. They're all surrounded by clouds, a circle of light and theater curtains - the party's name is The Curtain Call.

Illustrated Dungeons and Dragons character sheet featuring my character Mire, a tiefling circle of spores druid.

A page of sketches of my dungeons and dragons tiefling druid Mire. The page features him standing clutching his staff looking to the side in the middle, with his familiar Morel, a snake on his shoulder. In the background there are various sketches of him in monochrome, showing him mid combat, being afraid and having having a bit of a mental breakdown. All regular stuff for him, sadly.

Sketch of my dnd character Mire standing next to a circular pit, looking up at a creature emerging from the depths. The creature is black, cowered in worms, its shadowy amalgamation resembles perhaps a dragon or a deer, with a skeletal face to match. It's staring down at Mire intently.

everyone wants to tell artists what to do and i wish we could shift to telling audiences what to do sometimes. if you liked webcomics that were on tapas, follow somewhere else. learn to use RSS. don't let the seamlessness of apps turn your brain into soup. you can change your habits

Pls always be wary of people reaching out in DMs asking for money, commissions, etc. I personally will never reach out to someone for such things, I do all my business through Ko-Fi and VGEN.

There's a reason us olds always say to have your own webcomic site and only mirror on hosting sites for extra reach. But I really feel for people whose comics found their audience, or their income, on Tapas. You don't get to choose where your work resonates. Fewer options=bad. Webtoon monopoly=bad.

Well, maybe once Tapas is down, I'll put Cupido up somewhere else, but if anyone wants to make sure they can read the comic forever, you can get it here ko-fi.com/s/6f342b3cf7 I will miss the comments on Tapas, though. The readers had fun

Ah well, I will say, I was on tapas from day one, almost. I did not make it big for a good while into its run (and tbh, I don't even know if I'd count myself as big on the platform at all) but I do have some fond memories of the site. It wasn't without its faults, but I will miss it.

skatuya 🌼 @skatuya.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Not to mention, with this, webtoon is losing a competitor, which is never a good thing. I think that platform had way too much influence over the online comic space already, and it will only grow with no alternative platforms that can come close to it in size.

skatuya 🌼 @skatuya.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

It really sucks to see Tapas shutting down for a multitude of reasons to be honest. And I know a lot of creators have had mixed experiences with the platform, but personally, Tapas allowed me to move to freelance and work on Cupido full-time a few years ago. So I'm not happy to see it go...
