I remember seeing reports of a prototype TV a few years back. It featured a car driving towards the viewer on a long road in the night. The light was so bright it hurt the eyes. Sadly it never made it into a consumer product.

Bescheuerte Fake News... Als ob Trump Cola Light trinken würde... Wenn schon das Original.

Ein Gewitter bei dem es Nachts etwas abkühlt wäre herrlich...

Don't worry, the traffic will stop soon. 🤣

Iran is blocking the strait and therefore oil deliveries, which makes prices go up and causes delivery issues. So he has a point with the statement that they "need" it more now. That being said, I'm not defending him, what he does is despicable. (I'm holding back choice words.) I'm standing with UA!

What sound problem? They are pretty quite. In the area where I live we have several hundreds of them, by now maybe even a thousand? They are not noisy. You can hear them when direct below. But roads in front of the house is louder than that. Bird problem doesn't really exist, plenty of studies done.

What? Where did you get the loli stuff from? Genuinely curious. I hope it's not just based on the "chan".

After a couple of hours I got the state machine for my character started with the first two states. Idle and Walking in #godot-engine. A few changes to my basic idea were needed because of limitation (no recursive references). I'm still not sure if this is the way to go, but good experience to try.

Lovely! Came here from X since there it doesn't show your pics anymore for me. (I won't install the app for age verification. I'm 40 goddamn.)

Back at working on a prototype, starting with some simple character models, going from Blender with Make Human add-on to Godot. Had a weird artifact. Turns out, the texture had an embedded color curve profile in the metadata. After removing it the eyebrows render as expected. #godot #blender

Instead of removing the games they should remove the payment options of those payment providers for these games. That being said, it sucks that payment providers are dictating allowed content. Something I hated for long now, it should be illegal.

I'd love to see the code too, but the thing will probably need a complete rewrite from scratch. And I'm saying that as someone who is a proponent of refactoring over rewriting.

I never used the "For You" page, but seeing that is scary. It really is fully his own plattform now, all about himself. One of the reasons for switching to Bluesky for me.

So, late to the party, but here anyway. 😀 Glad to see many of the people I followed on Twitter/X are active around here too.

Considering the size, calculating capacity and ~20W power usage the brain is really amazing.
