Day 42. Another 5.2 miles down, almost 34 miles completed. Not the best brain day, but we keep pushing on.

Day 40! Now north of 20 miles and £456 raised for CALM. Also, finally, some good news late this afternoon that will hopefully help me breathe a little easier soon.

Day 39. More miles ticked off. 🙂

Just so chuffed that Evans finally had a little something go his way in a title decider. He's pretty much spent two full seasons running first on the road and had two critical punctures in the final round both years. I feel for Oliver, but Elfyn deserved a little something to go his way. Fantastic.

Day 38! Two problems. Firstly, I forgot to take pictures because I got rather into today's cricket session. Secondly, I don't carry my phone on me while cricketing, so, technically, my mileage is rubbish today. 😅 But hey, mile 8 is definitely completed. We're also up to an incredible £406 for CALM!

Day 37. Added a few more miles to the chart, and the goal from CALM got absolutely smashed on day 2 of the whole damn thing. 😅 Thank you, everyone. I guess we'll see how high we can get it!

CALM is a suicide prevention charity in the UK. For anyone who would be willing to give a little something, I have a JustGiving page set up here: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/... For anyone who wants to do a little more reading, here is the CALM website: www.thecalmzone.net 2/3

Day 36. As some of you know, I've been battling my mind a bit over the course of a lot of this year. With that, I signed up for CALM's (Campaign Against Living Miserably) 100 miles in October challenge to raise £120. Tonight marked the start of my 100 miles, despite my illness and brain! 1/3

Day 35. Once again dragged myself out for a little bit. A little better, did a slightly longer loop.

Hoping to be live at 18:30 BST with another SROL watchalong. Tonight the community takes on Road Atlanta for 1 hour and 45 minutes! No promises I'll be able to do it as it'll depend on how the illness progresses today, but fingers crossed. 🙂

Day 34. A little better than yesterday but still pretty horrible. A short trip to Lidl for some soup. 😅

Day 33. Decided I needed a change of scenery so did a 10-minute loop. Yeah... I feel GREAT. 🤒

Thank you. :) It's been a journey, that's for sure! I got back into playing cricket this summer and I'm not done yet! Still more weight to lose and plenty of room to get fitter. 🙂

Day 32! Forgot I promised I'd take my brother to see a Steam train early this morning. Thankfully only a small excursion. 😅

Day 31! An entire months worth of getting out in the world every single day. Tomorrow will (probably) be an enforced end of streak given I've pushed myself too far today. Turns out walking, training and illness is a recipe for a physical collapse while preparing dinner. 😬

Day 30! Almost didn't go out today given illness, but glad I did with the beautiful hazy morning that it was. 🙂

There are so many people who don't know how to say absolutely nothing. 😅

And yes, I did see the comment that probably led to Yuri's ban. Absolutely don't condone that. I hope it doesn't take away from the frothing hatred being spewed out by the other guy.

I don't even know what to say. I only hope @iracing.com come to the right conclusion regarding Craig. Good on @yurikasdorp.bsky.social. www.youtube.com/watch?v=RERU...

Day 29! Definitely ill, but it's my brother's birthday and he wanted to go out for a couple of treats. 😅

This is Ashton Court. Well worth a visit, along with Leigh Woods, which is just across the road once you've got all the way up the hill. 😅

Day 22! Thought I posted last night, but apparently not.

Stephen Bailey @sjbailey87.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Each day is still a battle, but I will plod on, trying to make peace where I can. Maybe in time I'll be able to figure out my path forward.

Stephen Bailey @sjbailey87.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

Day 21. That is three weeks done. What has getting out every single day (and doing at least 10k steps each day) done for me? Certainly not miracles, but small moments have reminded me that it is possible to feel at peace. Today I felt completely at peace for 5 minutes while lying on the grass.

Day 18! A lovely day spent at Bagborough CC for the very end of the club cricket season. Didn't plan on spending the whole match umpiring, but thoroughly enjoyed the day. Can't wait to get back playing next year. 🙂
