Good to know that the edit did it’s intention and held up to the Backrooms’ scariness, but I’m really sorry if it gave you a spook at a bad time 😅

From what I’ve found out, filming had taken place in Glasgow. This photo from her Instagram and the use of “subculture” is seemingly lining up with the timeline of the doc but I can’t find any info on where they plan to film next on this doc if they haven’t already filmed elsewhere

A screenshot from EllieFlynn’s Instagram, showing Ellie and her Journalism team and camera equipment in Glasgow with the following caption:
“And spent a few days in Glasgow with this dream team exploring a very interesting subculture”

I should probably add now that this post has gotten some traction. The suit in the post is me in the suit doing a 🤫 pose! I don’t know if Ellie or any of the team is using a suit, but looking at it again now it might give the impression this is Ellie’s suit which it certainly isn’t 😅

Us not consenting to interviews and better yet not giving them any opportunities to film us, gives the fandom a degree of plausible deniability, but the moment a furry sits in the interview chair, one sound bite from the wrong, non media trained furry and it could be devastating

110

VI | Spectre 🔜 YorkFurs20th @six-the-hellhound.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Yeah there’s gonna be people out there that we’ll never convince that Furries are okay, but there’s people who are indifferent or furries who are living with family on the edge. A Primetime slot documentary on Channel 4 that focuses on furry kinks isnt gonna be any good convincing factor for normies

100

VI | Spectre 🔜 YorkFurs20th @six-the-hellhound.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Remember the media aren’t your friends! There’s no explaining anything when they have an editing studio that’ll cut up whatever you say. There’s nothing wrong with this fandom having a NSFW side, but Channel 4 will want to convince the nation there is.
