I honor of the first day of spring, I took out my new e-trike for the first time. First, full electric. My front wheel was turned when I twisted the throttle and I rode in circles until I could get my hand to let go. Then I tried pedal assist. No circles but almost hit a parked car at level 3.

I got a beautiful Waterford crystal biscuit jar as a wedding gift in the 70s. I had always thought the name made no sense. Tonight out of nowhere I finally realized that Waterford crystal is made in England, where cookies are called biscuits. 49 years of being an absolute idiot. Sigh.
