Here. I’ll gladly share the random interwebs recipe I got when googled “chicken black beans rice” because that’s what I had to cook with tonight. 😁 I also added cumin. And it is DELICIOUS!
1 cup uncooked rice
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup salsa
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 15oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
2 chicken breasts
10 oz Enchilada sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 F and spray a 9x13 baking dish

Add all ingredients except cheese and stir

Cover tightly with foil and bake for 55 minutes

Uncover, add cheese, and bake 15 more minutes

Setting up the backyard for Fall! We’re going with purple and orange mini-lights and scary outdoor movies by the fire. 👻 I do have to put up the clear shower curtain walls to keep the sideways rain out… but not yet. 🤞

I only had to call my brother once and re-hook up the tank 3 times and try to start it 5 or 6… but, no singed eyebrows!

Let’s get serious for a moment; community voices are imperative. The magnitude of this work is beyond any one person or even one team. Indigenous voices need to help shape Indigenous supports. If you are a Métis person in BC, please consider lending yours. engage.mnbc.ca/gender-based...

Rachel Marsden (of which there are about 4 in my lineage) was Baptized at St. Paul’s in 1875 in Metlakatla by the Church of England. So… here we go down a rabbit hole. 🙂 Was she an Auntie? Grandmother? Cousin? Do I need to go on a road trip? 😁✨💪🏼♾️🪶

Got a survey from the Vancouver Canucks… the team located on Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh and Squamish territory. I bet there’s a lot of Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh and Squamish fans that go to games and shop at shops etc. Too bad they (nor any other First Nations) get to be a choice on the survey.
Choices are:

White/Caucasian
Black or African American
Hispanic
Asian/Pacific Islander
American Indian or Alaskan Native
Multiple Ethnicities/Other

[stereotypically] Women need to be employed to read directions on man-tools like lawn mowers, because to me “right handle” = right side, not left side. Took me a while to realize “right handle” probably means “correct handle.” It’s not wrong, it’s just not intuitive/poor choice of words. 🤔
“Make sure the rope handle is on the right handle, when you stand behind the mower.”

But the drawing shows it being attached to the left handle…?A photo of the mower handle, clearly the rope guide should go on the left?
