Once again, there’s some silly gatekeeping going around in the Transformers fandom about zines. If you’re reading this: you can make your own zine. FanZines aren’t supposed to be elitist, they’re a way to make the world a little less lonely.

Disco Elysium Quotes @discoelysiumbot.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

You’re pushed on by numbers and punitive measures: pain, rejection, and unpaid bills. You can either play or you can crawl under a boat and waste away -- turn into salt or a flock of seagulls. Your enemies would love that. Or you can fight. The only way to load the dice is to keep on fighting.

so the cat distribution system has thrown me an adorable unexpected curveball, on the first day of the big snow a little kitten showed up in our yard. His mom never came back for him so we took him in and took him to the vet. named the little guy domino

Lambo twins doodle that very quickly become not a doodle, hope I got the "siblings annoying the absolute shit out of each other" vibes across <3 #transformers #maccadam #sunstreaker #sideswipe #art.png

A full body digital drawing of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker from Transformers mostly done in their IDW 2005 comic designs against a white background. Sideswipe is leaning against Sunstreaker and using him as an arm rest with a cheeky smile. Sunstreaker's face is partially hidden by Sideswipe's arm, but he's grumbling while holding a rag and polish.

TFcon Chicago needs a new LARGER venue. This is so much worse than 22’ Right now this is the only spot I can stand in basically. I suggest using Schaumburg, i have helped run a con there… in 61,000 sqft.

I don’t feel like the person who stopped me and wanted the photo had malicious intent but it freaked me out and I’m still kind of freaked out. I may come down to the convention today in a bit but for the moment I’m still kind of shaken

I had a wonderful time yesterday a met a lot of nice folks, but at the end of the night something happened that I really did not expect that made me feel incredibly self conscious. I will not go into too much detail, but I ask that if anyone sees any photos of me in a bathroom posted online please ask whoever posts them to delete them. Because that was a really weird thing to do, and i don't exactly know how the hell to cope with the fact somebody even thought that was okay and not
absolutely inappropriate timing wise

megatron looking through the blinds in his apartment to shockwave getting into his car going to work with a thought bubble thinking "shockwave is going to work... yess.... that means I have the entire DECEPTICON APARTMENT ALL to MY SELF" he turns around and shouts "BUSHWACKER!!!" a small sad transformer walks in saying "yes lord megatron..". 4th panel is of megatrons devious smirking face saying "transform." bushwacker then transforms into a Hitachi magic wand. everyone clapped

#TFcon so I’m bringing this and doing my “mini zine trading” and “teaching folks how to make one then handing them a blank zine and a pen” thing again at my table In Chicago soon. And this time I made some buttons! I want to make it easier to spot other people at the con with zines to trade!

Multicolored pin-backed buttons featuring the text “trade zines” with an illustration of two mini zines and arrows on their covers.

I usually have a party in my room the night before each con where I hang out with friends and we all fold zines for the show. Lots of folks have helped me with this personal project and sharing art made by my friends with folks while also helping others make art is the kind of shit I live for

140

Sisi @ TFcon Orlando Prep👁️ @sisi-esprit.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

If you like zines and are coming to this Chicago TFcon, it would be sweet if you bring a pair of scissors & or a bone folder so you can make friends and fold zines together!

140

Sisi @ TFcon Orlando Prep👁️ @sisi-esprit.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

My goal this #TFcon was to set up things so anyone who talks to me about zines has easy access to -make their own mini zine with pen and paper -go make -fold em -come back to my booth and borrow scissors if you need them -then find and and trade with other people wearing a button

The hotel in Chicago hosting TFcon has a business center where you can make copies and print on letter sized paper very easily. (And cheap, at least it was last time hopefully it still is)

140

Sisi @ TFcon Orlando Prep👁️ @sisi-esprit.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

If you make a zine at the con then bring it back to show me I’ll trade that for a free spin of the zine machine so you get another little zine too!! (You just have to show me and let me take a picture of it, you can give it to me if you want but you don’t have to)

140

Sisi @ TFcon Orlando Prep👁️ @sisi-esprit.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

I always have blank pre folded mini zines and those pens that have several different ink colors with me at conventions. Been teaching people how to make their own mini zines at conventions for a while now and it gives me life.
