I don’t feel like the person who stopped me and wanted the photo had malicious intent but it freaked me out and I’m still kind of freaked out. I may come down to the convention today in a bit but for the moment I’m still kind of shaken

I had a wonderful time yesterday a met a lot of nice folks, but at the end of the night something happened that I really did not expect that made me feel incredibly self conscious. I will not go into too much detail, but I ask that if anyone sees any photos of me in a bathroom posted online please ask whoever posts them to delete them. Because that was a really weird thing to do, and i don't exactly know how the hell to cope with the fact somebody even thought that was okay and not
absolutely inappropriate timing wise

We’ve loved being a part of TFcon for years, but the lack of communication from the organizers is making it hard for us artists to keep contributing. This might be the last TFcon I go to as an AA artist because the organizer has functionally blacklisted me from buying tables. #Transformers #TFcon

Dear TFcon Team,
We hope this letter finds you well. As a group of artists who have been part of TFcon's Artist Alley for many years, we're writing to share some concerns about the communication we've been receiving-or rather, not receiving. We love being part of the convention and have continued to come back year after year because of the community and creativity that TFcon fosters.
However, we feel like the way communication has been handled lately is making it harder for us to do what we as independent artists with a mutual love for this fandom all strive to do: contribute to the con in a meaningful way.
~ What's Been Going On:
1. Lack of Consistent Updates
Over the past several events, we've experienced delays and unclear responses when it comes to key information, especially around Artist Alley registration. We've been told multiple times that registration would open "soon" or after a specific milestone, but follow-up information has been missing or vague. This leaves us scrambling to prepare with no clear timeline.

2. A Call for More Transparency What we're asking for is more consistency and transparency in how updates are shared. If registration needs to be delayed or plans change, we just need to know sooner, with a little more clarity about why. We know things can happen behind the scenes, but keeping artists in the loop goes a long way toward making us feel respected and prepared.
3. How This Is Affecting Us
This communication breakdown is having a direct impact on us as artists. For example, at the recent TFcon events in Florida and Toronto, the AA was placed separate rooms without giving us info about that ahead of time, which seriously affected foot traffic and our interactions with attendees.
Also In Orlando we were put in the same divided ballroom as the cosplay contest, meaning when they cut the lights for that we were left in the dark without prior warning or any lighting to guide foot traffic. We feel like this could have been a dangerous safety issue, and a warning about this kind of space usage in the future would help us prepare.

4. We Want to Help Make Things Better
We want to be clear that we love tabling at TFcon and genuinely enjoy being part of this community.
Our goal in writing this letter isn't to complain, but to help improve communication and organization so everyone benefits-artists, attendees, and the con itself. We're confident that with more open and consistent communication, the whole experience will be better for everyone involved.
In closing, we'd really appreciate it if you could take these concerns into consideration and work with us to improve how things are communicated in the future. We're more than happy to discuss these issues further and hope to hear back from you soon. It would be greatly appreciated to receive more than a single word in response, as we seek to engage in an ongoing and informative dialogue. If need be we will make this letter an open letter.
