There was a talk at THU yesterday that baffled me. It started as Pedro Conti's short, and then turned into a panel into discussing the future of the industry. They were all discussing the benefits and how they integrated IA into the pipeline. How it enabled them to "do better artistic decisions".

Aaron Keller on 6v6 in #Overwatch 👥 After recent tests, the team believes there’s enough interest in both formats to support 5v5 and 6v6 simultaneously, rather than forcing one global format. Open Queue may also be separated.

Late wip Wednesday but I do have something! The next chapter of Fiery Curses is drafted, just needs editing. It is a fairly long chapter though. Yuuji/Nanami and some Sukuna/Megumi, feudal Japan omegaverse au, dead dove. Full fic: archiveofourown.org/works/845813...

What was surprising was that the servants who were tending to him—while they had no major scent as if they were betas—all had a scar on each side of their neck. Right in the juncture where it met the shoulders—the location of both alpha and omega scent glands.

Normally Kento was not one to pry, but he had a feeling that questioning those scars may lead to some useful information.

“Um, if I may ask, why is it that you all have scars on your necks?”

“Oh, you do not need to ask permission to question us—” one of the servants said, “We have the scars because we are all omegas. The palace does not want anyone besides other omegas tending to their royal consorts, but they also do not want us smelling like omegas or going into heat—where we could tempt alphas within the palace. So our scent glands were removed,” she took Kento’s left hand into hers, beginning to file his nails.

New excerpt from Fiery Curses and Sakura Blessings for wip Wednesday. I got about 3k words written last weekend, so hopefully won't be much longer. Jujutsu Kaisen Itadori/Nanami and Sukuna/Fushiguro omegaverse feudal Japan au, dead dove. Link: archiveofourown.org/works/845813...

A screenshot of the following text:

The two made their way into the chamber, and there she sat in all her glory: The emperor of Japan—

Or that is what Kento would have thought, except instead of the grand figure sitting straight and tall on a throne that he had been expecting—one wearing full court garb and surrounded by servants—the two of them walked into a near-empty room. There was only the emperor. And while she was on her throne, it was difficult to describe what she was doing as “sitting;” more like lounging than anything, half-laying on her side over the armrest, her head lying in one of her hands. She was dressed in a casual kosode, head and feet both bare. Her kanmuri—the tall hat meant for nobles that served as her crown—was tossed off to the side on the floor.

It’s mind-blowing that we have literal white nationalists in the White House carrying out unfathomably cruel, abusive, white nationalist policies, and the punditariat has spent the last two weeks debating if some people were too intemperate after a Black man was murdered by cops six years ago.

The existence of a "DSA," of a young left, breaks through in old media, and thus to older people, and the existence of a radical left is a legible, understood phenomenon to older people, but insane radicalism among young right-wingers isn't so covered in old media and isn't legible to older people.

I don't think I'll ever understand this correlation some younger people seem to have with feeling uncomfortable=feeling personally attacked. You can aknowledge that somebody's own choices don't fit into your personal lifestyle choices without spurring judgments onto others. It's their life, who gaf?
