What the actual fuck did I just watch?

Work is overwhelming, yo. 🌀_🌀

Oh, and a quick preview of what I’m working on. I keep being way too ambitious about this because I want to get everything right.

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 19/09/2024

Okay, fine. I’ll hop on this trend. Likely would have been a significantly lower number if I wasn’t stuck waiting for an invite code.

Many finishing touches later, and she’s done.

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 18/08/2024

Starting to really enjoy not relying on a go-to outfit, or a consistent hairstyle.

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 16/08/2024

Trying out something new with the outfit. Not a permanent change to her go-to, just a variant.

Enfin fini! Leaning HARD into Axl being a pro wrestler. 🖤

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 06/08/2024

Done! Pretty pleased with how everything turned out. 💖

Quick preview of what I’m working on. Just need to clean up some of the lineart, and give her some colour. ❤️

2/4 Reintroducing Raine and one of her avian companions, Naveed.

Finally, draft one is finished for all four members of the Savage Sirens; Raine, Peach, Moka & Jin.

I’ll be finishing this, later today. ❤️

Glad to finally have this finished. Yes, Red Bull happens to be my favourite thing in the world. 💙🩶

Got about this far before pain started up again. I swear, it’s hard wanting to be creative when most of my energy is being used to stay alive. 🫥 Had some teeth fixed, almost a week ago. I’ve been living on Advil and energy drinks since, because it hurts to eat anything that I have to chew.

Eeee! I love how this is turning out, so far. Still struggling with pain from my last dentist appointment, so I’ll try to have this finished by Monday. No guarantees.

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 25/05/2024

Badger. Final answer. I’m gonna play around with the ear shape and the facial markings before I finish this.

000

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 21/05/2024

Finished Drew… and started another pic of Meg. She may not be my main, but she still functions as a comfort character.

000

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 16/05/2024

Also, finished this just recently.

000

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 16/05/2024

Hopefully, I’ll be able to finish this sometime on the weekend.

000

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 07/05/2024

Not enough spare time to finish this over the weekend. It’ll be my next priority, likely after work today.

000

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 30/04/2024

Overcoming art block. Axl has always been my go-to character for bringing creativity back. 🖤

010

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 21/04/2024

Done and done. I’ve never been happier with her design. ❤️

000

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 20/04/2024

Tonight’s efforts. I hope to finish this either tomorrow or Sunday night.

000

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 17/03/2024

Don’t mind me, just playing with brushes. 😁

010

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 14/03/2024

So, I’m trying to work beyond my comfort zone. I’ve always wanted more for Axl. Her design never felt “enough” to me. I’ve always wanted her to have a more muscular physique, but I lacked the talented to accurately portray that. This is a step towards fixing that.

010

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 13/03/2024

What could have been vs how it ended up. Had I not been so concerned with fitting in back in the early aughts, this is what Meg could have looked like. Not a permanent change, just a fun “what if?” exercise.

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 25/02/2024

Lookit, I’m distracting you with bare breats so you’ll ignore how basic these backgrounds are

010

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 22/02/2024

Tonight’s efforts. I’ll clean up the lineart and give this some colour tomorrow.

000

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 14/02/2024

I think I’m way too emotionally attached to this character to change or discard her. Trying to redesign her was my way of distancing myself from a lot of pain in my past that I’m now at peace with and now look back with nostalgic fondness, for a time when life was so much simpler.

000

Lilith Sinclair @sinsaturnalia.bsky.social · 10/02/2024

Out of all the redesigns, Axl was changed the least. I’ve been wanting to lean harder into her being part lion and the fact that maned lionesses exist, so her hair is meant to look more like a mane. I’ve also adjusted a few minor details. Overall, very happy with the result.
