I think you’d still have to be above average in everything to make it to the top three. But the current way means that the order of the episodes affects who’s still in later in the season. I’d like to see them all have a chance at every type of baking!

GBBO shouldn’t send someone home every week. Someone might be bad at one thing and awesome at something else, but they could get sent home before the week of their specialty. Instead, rank all the bakers each week and assign points accordingly. In the end the top three people make it to the final.

Can any actual choir directors weigh in on Sister Mary Clarence’s conducting technique? Seems to me she does mostly dancing and very little conducting. Also, I think the accompanist is behind her?? Where she wouldn’t be able to see the conducting?

We had a dead mouse in the kitchen once that we couldn’t reach. It was somewhere under the cupboards, under the tile, but still with a hole big enough for the stink to get out. I lit a good smelling candle on the counter for a few days. It helped more than I expected it to.

We watched Back to the Future with our teenager last night and besides the time travel, here’s the most implausible part - Marty goes back to 1985 in the center of town. He gives himself 10 minutes to stop what happens to Doc. It’s 2 miles from town to the mall. He ran 2 miles in 10 minutes???

I took the 3 girls out and they got their arms painted (like face painting but on arms), did a scavenger hunt, won 45 raffle tickets, got their picture taken with a green screen to add a fun background, colored a cat craft, and walked out with stacks of borrowed books because we were at the library.
