They changed the normal screen at meitetsu Nagoya for some kind of vibe coded LLM powered shit that is displaying live text instead of prerecorded text. It's chaos.

The screen is displaying English and Mandarin as Japanese, and mangling the airport name, giving different names twice on the same screen.

Special mention to this. Only time in my life I had my dad do a level for me. That creepy zombie guy! We only have 2 channels on the TV and there was a always a pair of hands before my eyes for anything scary, so I don't have a scary movie memory...

The other day I saw 川の主, the river's custodians having a meeting.

In the middle of the river, a rock. On the rock, looking left, a turtle will a little island of seaweed on its shell.
On the same rock, pretty much touching the turtle, looking right, a cormorant.

My garden is always the most beautiful thing.

An extremely small Japanese moss garden with an old stone lantern, a water feature, a fern, a camellia tree, and rocks. The moss is almost neon green. There are plants and tiny fish in the water.

Among many other issues, to me this one is the most likely to be 'convenient' for a hard-line government. You never really know why you get 1 or 3 or 5 years, there's no disclose or public guideline. If tomorrow 5 years visas stop being delivered, there'd be no more PR.

Horrors courtesy of my local Korean restaurant. I ordered the bowl of writhing worms and it was actually slices of meat. Sadly in my city, Kyoto, more and more restaurant are using generated images. Why, when they have to make the dish anyway?
