I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with the Snappy Supercuts, tbh. Might have to have the game muted for large portions of it. Some areas are just entirely blocked. This is the number of segments I need to trim to restore monetization. Get real!

Really sucks that Deltarune is arguably the most successful indie game of all time, yet its music is not owned by the man who composed it, and is instead policed by a bunch of weird companies that go against his wishes and demonetize or even steal monetization from random streams and videos.

There's a built-in modding browser. With nothing but a controller and a few clicks of the A Button you can install a multiplayer mod, randomizer, and play online with your friends at uncapped FPS. Could a Dolphin fork eventually facilitate something like this? Maybe. But a native port is simpler.

Hey that's really good. Thank you everyone for an incredible first 24hrs. Even using the old view system, the video has 60k "Engaged Views," meaning this is the strongest Day 1 a SimplySnaps video has ever had by twofold. I'm truly grateful, IDK what else to say but "Neat."

Wow! Even with the inflated views since my last upload, this Demo video is a *real* best of 10! (Engaged views are just the old way of counting views from before August)

My only objective issue with the style is all the "overdesigning" Someone was really proud of all the detail without thinking about the greater impact on the final image. It becomes one big mess of texture and noise. Feels like a lack of cohesion and leadership. Probably multiple external art teams

I see a lot of people referring to PC ports as "Decomps." Being a PC port does not make something "A Decomp," and Decomps are not PC ports. Also Recomps are not Decomps. YouTubers and Kotaku have done irreparable damage to these terms. A decomp is just code. You make a port with the game's code.

I love Kirby's Adventure so much, man 😭😭😭 Cannot believe how good it looks on an RGB modded NES through my Retrotink

SimplySnaps @simplysnaps.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Finally saved up some big-girl money and got an RGB modded NES and N64. This is a digital output, immune to the noise of analog video conversion. It feeds into my Retrotink Upscaler and outputs at 1080p. I have never seen retro consoles look this good. Classic streams coming soon.

Negativity trends. Outrage sells. YouTubers want you to be upset so they get more engagement. Halo: Campaign Evolved is a flawed game (as all games are,) but a fundamentally good remake of a classic. It's worth playing. It's only $50, and I had a LOT of fun. I am genuinely excited for the sequel.

Yeah we basically run 4 mods that strictly fix unexpected bugs that do not happen on any other version of the game. Totally fair in my book. Though as someone who grew up on Zelda Runs, installing a mod loader to do leaderboard runs felt insane to me LOL

Zelda Dungeon's Wiki says you can kill the Pols Voice by flicking the C-Stick on Gamecube Collector's Edition's Japanese Release of Zelda 1. I went to get footage of it, and it just doesn't work. It only works on Wii Virtual Console, despite the wiki calling the roms identical.
